Noad
You cant be sure I'm afraid, whether it evolves into a Silcoon or Cascoon is completely random. +1 for breeding Beautifly though, will be interested to see the finished project! Link to comment
Arimanius
I had the same problem cause I wanted to breed Dustox (I love Poison Pokemon) I got a nice wild female calm 2x31 but I don't want to breed with her since I can't guarantee the outcome T.T Same problem with nidos :( Link to comment
Yaguarete
i have the set done, but i dont want to be frustrated :S what if i really want to do the 5x31 , how many high quality breeders would i need ? >.< i already have a beautifly and a dustox, the dustox is calm, and their ivs are very good, but my beauty is mild, and i need to change his set a little too. maybe the only chance is make a simple godly to avoid lose big amounts of money and breeders. PandaJJ
There is no way to know if you get a beautifly or a dustox - this is one of the many consequences of the new breeding system that I think should be taken a look on. Not that you will ever want either, but that's besides the point. Noad 1 Link to comment
felix
When I made my Dustox I was a bit afraid too, you need to pay attention when it evolves (cascoon has a horn in the ass HUE) cancel if it doesn't match, and try again next level, i did some level until I was sure. But you really should use that and make a Butterfree, Beautifly is crap (why u do dis gamefreak) Blue and dedegendut 2 Link to comment

My ooint is that competitively speaking Beautifly has no use, was a poor designed pokemon by game freak, they really should have done something better with it dedegendut and Shaniqualela 2 Link to comment
