Bushs OU Tier Competitive Pokemon Guide

Recommended Posts

Hello, I have been going through this comp style and watching tourneys in game to help come up with a guide for the current scene. Any input or suggestions are greatly appreciated. I'm no pro and had a bit of catching up to do. But I hope this benefits the community.

Nature: Jolly
Ivs and Evs: 31* speed. 252 Atk and Speed
Moveset:

  • Rock Slide
  • Double Edge
  • Earthquake
  • Wing Attack/Crunch/Pursuit/Dragon Claw

Just a standard attacking Aerodactyl. You can sneak in Crunch if you need it though.

“Novelty” Aerodactyl
Ability: Pressure/Rock Head (Depends if you choose to use Double Edge)
Item: Leftovers
Nature: Jolly/Hasty/Naive
Ivs and Evs: 31* speed. Max out Attack and Speed
Moveset:

  • Rock Slide
  • Earthquake
  • Taunt/Substitute
  • Fireblast/Double Edge

Ivs and Evs: 252 Attack + 128 Sp Def + 128 Def
Moveset:

  • Rock Slide
  • Earthquake
  • Double Edge
  • Wing Attack/ Dragon Claw/ Pursuit/ Crunch

You are going to have 150 speed at level 50 and with the swift CB it's going to be 225. You will still hit hard but have that extra bulk, Aero has lower defences compared to hit points. So you are better off splitting them between the two.

Arcanine
Spr_5b2_059.png

HP 90/Atk 110//Def 80/SpA 100/SpD 80/Spe 95

A strong OU pokemon that has found quite the niche being a defensive wall. Arcanine boasts a huge Base Stat Total and intimidate.

Set up the sun and if you prefer to heal over having priority go that way. Otherwise just blast away and watch out for hard counters like Chansey and Gardevoir.

Blaziken

This new guy on the scene helps deal with the ever dreaded SkarmChans combo. He has a few different sets but I will just start with a simple one. He also gets reversal / rock slide.

Dusclops

Spr_3e_356.png

With a nice variety for the moveset attacking wise and decent stall moves this can be quite annoying. You basically see which move you need for team coverage or just go full stall. You will see in the following sets.

HP 40/Atk 70/Def 130/SpA 60/SpD 130/Spe 25

Bulky CM
Item: Leftovers
Nature: Bold
Ivs and Evs: 252 Hp + 252 Def
Moveset:

  • Calm Mind
  • Pain Split
  • Shadow Ball
  • Hidden Power Fighting / Ice Beam

Annoying
Item: Leftovers
Nature: Bold /Relaxed/Calm/Sassy
Ivs and Evs: 252 Hp + 252 Def or SP Def
Moveset:

  • Will-O-Wisp
  • Pain Split
  • Shadow Ball/Seismic Toss
  • Toxic/Protect/Hidden Power Fighting/Ice Beam

I personally like it being a defensive wall more than special. There is a lot of variety for the type of set you can run here.

Espeon

Spr_4h_196.png

Moved up from UU this eevee evolution can pack quite the punch. The movepool is a little on the limited side but it has very nice access to heal bell / wish. Just watch out for pursuit users that can really hurt this.

HP 65/Atk 65/Def 60/SpA 130/SpD 95/Spe 110

Bulky CM
Item: Leftovers
Nature: Timid / Modest
Ivs and Evs: 252 Hp + 252 Speed
Moveset:

  • Calm Mind
  • Morning Sun
  • Psychic
  • Hidden Power Fire or Electric/Signal Beam

Just watch out Houndoom that would completely wall this set. With a few calm minds under the belt this can really hurt your opponent. HP Electric can be for the 4x on Gyarados if one pops out. Depends on what your team is weak against.

Special Sweeper

Item: Leftovers/ Special Choice Band
Nature: Timid /Modest
Ivs and Evs: 252 Sp Atk + 252 Speed
Moveset:

  • Psychic
  • Hidden Power Fire or Electric or Fighting
  • Shadow Ball or Signal Beam
  • Substitute / Calm Mind / Heal Bell / Morning Sun

The substitute is to ease prediction for you and to avoid getting hit by pursuit. You can also use other support moves depending on what your team needs.

Wish Support

Item: Leftovers
Nature: Timid
Ivs and Evs: 252 Hp + 252 Speed
Moveset:

  • Protect
  • Wish
  • Psychic
  • Hidden Power Fire or Electric/Signal Beam/ Heal Bell / Reflect / Toxic

Need a wisher and/or status healer. Just slip this guy into your team. The speed helps you get off the first shot most time and the last move depends on what you want for your team.

DEF Support

Item: Leftovers
Nature: Bold
Ivs and Evs: 252 Hp + 252 DEF
Moveset:

  • Morning Sun
  • Heal Bell
  • Psychic
  • Hidden Power Fire or Electric/Signal Beam/ Heal Bell / Reflect / Toxic

Can take a hit fairly decent, if you want to toss in about 36 DEF if you are running reflect to outspeed most DD Gyaras that could work as well.

Flygon

Spr_5b_330.png

HP 80/Atk 100/Def 80/SpA 80/SpD 80/Spe 100
CB Sweeper
Item: Choice Band
Nature: Adamant / Jolly
Ivs and Evs: 252 Attack + 252 Speed + 6 HitPoints
Moveset:

  • Superpower
  • Dragon Claw
  • Earthquake
  • Thunder/Fire Punch/Crunch/ Quick Attack

*Last move depends on your team but this is a welcome addition to OU with the nice ability and double stabs.

Mixed Sweeper

Item: Leftovers / Lum Berry / Special Choice Band
Nature: Rash
Ivs and Evs: 140 ATK+ 252 SP ATK+ 116 Speed (31 iv speed for this)
Moveset:

  • Earthquake/SuperPower
  • Hidden Power Electric
  • Fire Blast
  • Giga Drain

Try to catch your opponent off guard with attacking hard from the special side. Hopefully late enough game to take out some wall to get you that bit of edge you needed.

Speedy CB

Item:Swift Choice Band

Nature: Adamant
Ivs and Evs: 134 HP + 252 ATK + 124 SPEED
Moveset:

  • Superpower
  • Dragon Claw
  • Earthquake
  • Thunder/Fire Punch/Crunch/ Quick Attack

*Last move depends on your team but this is a welcome addition to OU with the nice ability and double stabs.

Forretress
Spr_4d_205.png

This poke got moved up into OU for a reason, nice resistances and only one weakness against 4x fire. Which you can use other pokes that resist fire like a bulky water or even pair it with a flash fire poke for easy switch in and boost.

HP 75/Atk 90/Def 140/SpA 60/SpD 60/Spe 40
PHYS Tank
Item: Leftovers
Nature: Impish
Ivs and Evs: 252 Hp + 252 DEF or 252 SP DEF
Moveset:

  • Earthquake
  • Spikes
  • Rapid Spin
  • Counter/Explosion/Toxic

SP DEF Tank
Item: Leftovers
Nature: Careful
Ivs and Evs: 252 Hp + 252 SP DEF
Moveset:

  • Earthquake
  • Spikes
  • Rapid Spin
  • Counter/Explosion/Toxic

Other Moves: Rock Slide, Reflect, & Light Screen.

Gyarados

Spoiler

HP 95/Atk 125/Def 79/SpA 60/SpD 100/Spe 81
With Salamence out of the picture and gaining a physical water stab of waterfall. This beast of a water dragon has been finding more spots on teams with its awesome ability + stats.

Physical Sweeper
Item: Lum berry/Leftovers
Nature:Adamant/Jolly
Ivs and Evs: Jolly should hit a speed of 134 to outspeed 200 speed tier after a dragon dance. Max out attack and stick the rest in Hp. Adamant should hit a speed of 127 to out speed alakazam after dragon dance. Max attack and rest can go into hp.
Movesets:

  • Dragon Dance
  • Earthquake / Crunch
  • Return / Double-Edge / Bounce
  • Waterfall

* Simple strategy, switch in on pokes that can’t really do much to it, such as water/grass/fire types, and go for a Dragon Dance sweep. Taunt is to stop status and being wish/spikes/status/phazer, while surf can actually do damage to Gyarados biggest counters. Magneton is a great pair seeing as it can easily eliminate Skarmory.

You just need to make some good predicts and this can work out for you if they switch into a jolteon or something that takes a SE hit. Once their team is scouted a bit you can figure out what moves to use.

Drum n' break walls Contributed by Ryspicz

Item: Sitrus Berry
Nature: Jolly
Ivs and Evs: Max speed, HP enough to get Sitrus' HP boost after Belly Drum. If we're using perfect IVs, then spread 156 atk, 252 speed, 100 def will work.
Moveset

  • Belly Drum
  • Earthquake
  • Thunderpunch
  • Return

Simple thing. Belly drum, punch a hole in enemy's defensive core, use rest of your sweepers to bring him to his knees.

Windy SP DEF

Item: Leftovers

Ability: Guts
Nature: Careful
Ivs and Evs: 128HP + 128 DEF + 252 SP DEF
Moveset

  • Whirlwind
  • Rest
  • Sleep Talk
  • Cross Chop

Ideally it would be nice to have some spikes down or you can use this to stop your enemy from setting up. Thick fat would probably be preferred.

Heracross
Spr_5b_214_m.png

HP 80/Atk 125/Def 75/SpA 40/SpD 95/Spe 85

ChoiceBander
Ability: Guts
Item: Choice Band
Nature: Adamant
Ivs and Evs: 252 Atk and 252 Speed
Moveset:

  • Earthquake
  • Brick Break / Low Kick/  Focus Punch
  • Megahorn
  • Rock Slide/Pursuit/ Double-Edge/Return

*Choice Band Away! You would want to pick something to hit ghosts if you are worried about Dusclops.

ReversalSwag
Ability: Swarm
Item: Salac berry
Nature: Adamant
Ivs and Evs: Speed must hit 134 to hit 201 after salac. 252 Atk and Speed
Moveset:

  • Endure/Substitute
  • Reversal
  • Megahorn
  • Swords Dance

* Endure is generally better for Heracross since a lot of pokemons can outspeed it can kill it or lower its Hp enough so it can’t set a Sub, but Substitute can be used for blocking status which otherwise can ruin this set. Reversal at 1 Hp with stab hits 300 power so it’ll dent even things that resist it. Megahorn at low Hp activates Swarm to boost its already high power. Swords Dance can be used to power up Heracross’s Atk when your opponent switches or tries to predict your endure. Rock Slide isn’t needed as super effective Rock Slide does the same damage as resisted Reversal.

Mesohorny
Ability: Guts
Item: Leftovers/Salac berry
Nature: Adamant/Jolly
Ivs and Evs: 252 Atk and Speed.
Moveset:

  • Facade/Swords Dance
  • Megahorn
  • Brick Break
  • Rock Slide

* A pretty hard hitting Heracross that doesn’t have to drop its Hp low to hit hard. Switching in on Toxic or Wil-o-Wisp would strike fear into your opponents heart. Leftovers can minimize the status damage while Salac can activate near death to give you a last ditch effort to beat the opponent. Guts boosted Facade will 2hko Weezing. Megahorn is Heracross’s strongest stab. Brick Break and Rock Slide are great coverage move. Swords Dance can go over Facade and still sweep Weezing.

Speed CB

Ability: Guts
Item: Swift Choice Band
Nature: Adamant
Ivs and Evs: 252 Atk and 232 Speed(with 31 iv speed for 134) Leftovers into 56 HP EVs.
Moveset:

  • Earthquake
  • Brick Break / Low Kick/  Focus Punch
  • Megahorn
  • Rock Slide/Pursuit/ Double-Edge/Return

Another Swift user that can completely smash if they aren't packing priority.

Jolteon
Spr_5b_135.png

HP 65/Atk 65/Def 60/SpA 110/SpD 95/Spe 130

Classic

Ability: Volt Absorb
Item: Lum berry/Leftovers
Nature: Timid
Ivs and Evs: 252 Satk and Speed. 31* Speed Iv.
76HP+252SP ATK+ 178 SPEED if you want to make a bulkier one.
Moveset:

  • Thunderbolt
  • Substitute/Protect
  • Wish / Heal Bell
  • HP Ice/Grass/Water

* Set up a Sub on the opponents switch and pass it off accordingly. Thunderbolt is the obvious stab. HP Ice lets gives you pseudo-boltbeam coverage, and HP Grass hits Lanturn, Swampert, and rock types harder.

Rain Dance Set

Ability: Volt Absorb
Item: Lum berry/Leftovers
Nature: Timid
Ivs and Evs: 252 Satk and Speed. 31* Speed Iv.
76HP+252SP ATK+ 178 SPEED if you want to make a bulkier one.
Moveset:

  • Thunder
  • Rain Dance
  • HP Water
  • Wish / Heal Bell

Growth Set

Ability: Volt Absorb
Item: Lum berry/Leftovers
Nature: Timid / Modest
Ivs and Evs: 252 Satk and Speed. 31* Speed Iv.
76HP+252SP ATK+ 178 SPEED if you want to make a bulkier one.
Moveset:

  • Thunderbolt
  • Shadow Ball
  • HP Ice
  • Growth

This can really mess up an unprepared team and can quite shine in the late game.

Special CB Set

Ability: Volt Absorb
Item: Special CB Or Swift CB
Nature: Timid / Modest
Ivs and Evs: 252 Satk and Speed. 31* Speed Iv.
76HP+252SP ATK+ 178 SPEED if you want to make a bulkier one.
Moveset:

  • Thunderbolt
  • Shadow Ball
  • Hidden Power Ice / Grass
  • Hyper Voice

Being one of the fastest special attackers with the right predicts this should be able to take out lots.

Kingdra
Spr_5b_230.png

HP 75/Atk 95/Def 95/SpA 95/SpD 95/Spe 85
Rain Sweep
Item: Lum berry/Chesto berry
Nature: Modest
Ivs and Evs: 252 Satk evs, hit at least 108 speed (outspeeds Marowak), rest of evs in Hp
Moveset:

  • Rain Dance
  • Surf/Hydro Pump
  • Ice Beam
  • Rest/HP Grass/Electric/ Signal Beam

*In the rain this set becomes a monster. Surf in the rain does more than super effective ice beam so that should be your main attack to spam. Ice beam lets Kingdra hit grass types and Flygon for nasty damage. Rest should be used if you lack HP Grass or Electric. HP Electric and Grass lets Kingdra hit water types that would otherwise wall it. Outrage is meh.

Dragon Dance
Item: Lum berry/Chesto
Nature: Adamant
Ivs and Evs: Hit 123 Speed to outspeed Starmie after 1 ddance. 252 Atk evs. Rest in Hp
Moveset:

  • Dragon Dance
  • Return
  • Waterfall
  • Rest

*Mainly a gimmicky set for fun. Dragon Dance up to your heart’s content and attack with Return. Waterfall gives you perfect coverage with Return. Rest gives you a second life to sweep.

Linoone

Spr_3e_264.png

HP 78/Atk 70/Def 61/SpA 50/SpD 61/Spe 100

Belly X-Speed
Item: Leftovers / Salac
Nature: Adamant / Jolly
Ivs and Evs: 252 Attack + enough EVs speed to hit 134 speed.

The rest Id drop into HP.
Moveset:

  • Belly Drum
  • Subsitute
  • Extremespeed
  • Thief

*Decent coverage and having that +6 priority can be deadly. Watch out for phasers and hard hitters that are bulky. Dusclops can cause problems as well.

DIS IS GONNA HURT -Contributed by Ryspicz

Item: Silk Scarf
Nature: Adamant
Ivs and Evs: 252 Attack, enough speed to reach 123 stat, rest into HP to make it dividible by 4(+1). Rest of EVs can be put into def/ sdef.

Moveset:

  • Belly Drum
  • Subsitute
  • Extremespeed
  • Flail

+6 Silk scarfed Flail has a big chance of OHKOing Skarm and Forret. Only thing you need to look out for is Dusclops so pair it with a pursuit trapper.

HP 90/Atk 130/Def 80/SpA 65/SpD 85/Spe 55

Bulk Up Set Submitted by Jolyne

Ability: Guts
Item: Leftovers
Nature: Adamant
Ivs and Evs: 252 Atk, hit 91 Speed stat (outspeeds common walls; 70 base speed and lower), rest in HP.
Moveset:

  • Bulk Up
  • Low Kick/Superpower
  • Thunderpunch
  • Ice Punch/Fire Punch/Rock Slide/Facade/Thief

*Last move really depends on what you want to hit.

Choice Bander

Ability: Guts
Item: Choice Band
Nature: Adamant
Ivs and Evs: 252 Atk, hit 91 Speed stat (outspeeds common walls; 70 base speed and lower), rest in HP.
Moveset:

  • Low Kick / Superpower
  • Fire Punch
  • Thunder Punch
  • Facade/Thief/Rock Slide/Earthquake

Pretty much point and fire away. This will help you really hurt the opponent and that massive 130 base attack really helps you hit hard.

Speedy Champ

Ability: Guts
Item: Swift Choice Band
Nature: Adamant / Jolly
Ivs and Evs: 252 Atk + 252 Speed + 6 HP
Moveset:

  • Low Kick / Superpower
  • Fire Punch
  • Thunder Punch
  • Facade/Thief/Rock Slide/Earthquake

With Jolly nature you hit 175 speed which makes you outspeed those speed natured 100 stat pokes like Flygon. So that's always something to consider.

Ludicolo
Spr_5b_272_m.png

HP 80/Atk 70/Def 70/SpA 90/SpD 100/Spe 70

Rain Dance Sweeper

Ability: Swift Swim
Nature: Modest
Item: Lum berry
Ivs and Evs: 252 Satk, hit at least 108 Speed, and Rest on Hp
Moveset:

  • Rain Dance
  • Surf
  • Ice Beam
  • Giga Drain/Leech Seed

* Rain Dance lets Ludicolo outspeed everything. Surf with stab and in the rain hits hard even on pokemon who resists water attacks. Ice Beam lets Ludicolo take down Flygon while Leech Seed is for the obvious special wall, namely Chansey. Giga Drain rounds off the coverage making sure you’re not walled by bulky water types and is preferred over Leech Seed if you’re not too focused on special sponges.

Tank
Ability: Rain Dish
Nature: Calm
Item: Leftovers
Ivs and Evs: 252 Hp and 252 Sdef
Moveset:

  • Leech Seed
  • Synthesis/Protect/Substitute
  • Surf/Giga Drain/Seismic Toss
  • Toxic

* Leech Seed drains massive Hp from the likes of Chansey and is just a general nuisance. Synthesis offers immediate recovery while Protect lets you stall every other turn letting Leech Seed and Toxic rack up. Substitute can block out status and works well in tandem with Leech Seed. The third slot gives you an attacking option. Surf does more damage than Giga Drain but the latter gives you even more recovery build ups (for long stalls, Surf or Seismic Toss is preferred as to not run out of PP). Seismic Toss hits everything for a respectable 50 damage except ghost types. Toxic makes Ludicolo stall even more dangerous.

DEF Tank
Ability: Rain Dish
Nature: Bold
Item: Leftovers
Ivs and Evs: 252 Hp and 252 DEF
Moveset:

  • Leech Seed
  • Synthesis/Protect/Substitute
  • Surf/Giga Drain/Seismic Toss
  • Toxic

Same idea as above just a defensive variant.

Swords Dancer
Contributed by DaftKitteh
Ability: Swift Swim
Item: Leftovers
Nature: Adamant
EV's: Attack: 252, hit at least 101 speed and the rest in HP
Moveset:

  • Thunder-punch
  • Waterfall
  • Swords Dance
  • Rain Dance

If you manage to get a Swords Dance and a Rain Dance out Waterfall is going to do some serious damage to everything. It's really fun but I haven't used it much cause it's kinda frail and needs 2 turns to set up, and still only 2hkos a lot of things.

Dual ChoiceBand

Ability: Swift Swim
Nature: Modest / Timid
Item: Swift Choice Band /  Special Choice Band
Ivs and Evs: 252 SP Atk + 252 Speed
Moveset:

  • Giga Drain
  • Surf
  • Ice Beam
  • Hidden Power Electric

Ideally if you set up rain and bring this out you could just use the special Choice Band. With this move coverage you will hit lots of things for super effective and that water + grass stabs are nice. If you prefer to go with speed instead of power use the proper Choice Band..

Magneton

Spr_3e_082.png

HP 50/Atk 60/Def 95/SpA 120/SpD 70/Spe 70
You can come in and trap steel pokemon. Great physical walls like Forretress / Skarmory are the reason to use this.

TinCan Trapper
Ability: Magnet Pull
Item: Leftovers
Nature: Modest
EVs: 252 HP+ 252 SP ATK (You can run some speed to outspeed other Mags and base 70s)
Moveset:
  • Thunderbolt
  • Hidden Power Fire/Ice/Grass
  • Substitute
  • Thunder-Wave/Metal Sound/Toxic
Salac Trio Trap
Ability: Magnet Pull
Item: Salac Berry
Nature: Timid
EVs: 52 HP+ 252 SP ATK  + 200 Speed
(Make sure your total HP stat is dividable by 4 to activate salac)
Moveset:
  • Thunderbolt
  • Hidden Power Fire/Ice/Grass
  • Endure
  • Thunder-Wave/Metal Sound/Toxic

Just make sure everything is in the KO range and to try using it late game.

Swifty Or Special
Ability: Magnet Pull
Item: Swift or Special Choice Band
Nature: Timid / Modest
EVs: 252 SP ATK  + 252 Speed
Moveset:
  • Thunderbolt
  • Hidden Power Fire/Ice/Grass
  • Signal Beam
  • Tri-Attack

It just hardly gets those four moves to make a set. But you can try this out and let me know how it works. Kek.

  • Swords Dance

Ground / Ice coverage moves hit everything for at least neutral.

Speedy Wak
Ability: Rock Head
Item: Thick Club
Nature: Adamant / Jolly

When looking at the base stats it leaves little to be desired but the boost from the ability makes it a really hard hitter. Plus really versatile with the moveset.

Depending on which is more of a threat to your team pick the third move slot. With Swift it can also outspeed timid starmie that has base 115. So keep that in mind when using.

Ivs and Evs: 252 Hp, 252 SP Def
Moveset:

  • Spikes
  • Whirlwind
  • Counter/Drill Peck/Toxic/Pursuit/Taunt
  • Rest/Protect

*The standard Skarm set. Spikes can rack up serious damage in conjunction with Whirlwind. Use Drill Peck if your team already has status moves. Toxic can wear down many pokemons which Skarm can’t hurt with Drill Peck. Rest gives Skarm decent recovery options; run this with chesto. Leftovers recovery can really stack when using protect. Protect also allows Skarm to scout for surprise moves from opponents i.e. surprise Fireblast.

Others: Skarmory doesn’t have much options outside of the set above. Counter can destroy any physical attackers brave enough to stay in. Taunt can stop opposing pokemons from setting up Spikes.

  • Toxic/Protect/Heal Bell

*Wish is really nice recovery on Vaporeon and can be used to heal up the rest of your team also. The choice between Surf and Ice Beam depends on what you want to hit. Surf is stronger due to stab but Ice Beam lets Vap nab the Ohko on Salamence. Haze is great for stopping set up sweepers in their tracks and Toxic lets Vaporeon stall out opponents. Protect is helpful with Wish and Toxic. Protect does a makeshift Recovery when combined with Wish and also allows for Toxic to build up. Yes let us make Vaporeon more OP by adding Heal Bell.

I'll have to disagree on this one here. Swords Dance boosts Blaze Kick but it doesn't boost Fire Blast. Also the fact Blaze Kick is the most important physical move for Blaziken among Superpower/Brick Break and when your Fight Stab is immune or not very effective against something then that's where your #2 Stab comes in. Overall damage even without Swords Dance the Blaze Kick does much more than Fire Blast with that EV spread and nature.

Also not like Blaze Kick doesn't do enough on Forretress anyways. So only thing where Fire Blast is even slightly better is physically defensive Skarmory, which isn't going to stay against a Blaziken.

252+ Atk Blaziken Blaze Kick vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Forretress: 172-208 (94.5 - 114.2%) -- 75% chance to OHKO

It's largely dependent, at the end of the day. Blaze Kick is better on a pure Swords Dance set, but Fire Blast has it's uses, such as when you really need to OHKO Metagross without a boost, which Blaze Kick can't do without a +2, and an uninvested Fire Blast is still more powerful than a +2 Blaze Kick on Weezing.

252 + Blaziken Blaze Kick vs. 252/12 Metagross: 122-144 (65.2 - 77%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

60 Special Attack Blaziken Fire Blast vs. 252/0 Metagross: 173-204 (92.5 - 109%) -- 56.3% chance to OHKO

60 Special Attack Blaziken Fire Blast vs. 252/0 Weezing: 99-117 (57.5 - 68%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

+2 Blaziken Blaze Kick vs. 252/252+ Weezing: 96-114 (55.8 - 66.2%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

Blaze Kick also hits Gardevoir I guess, since Fire Blast doesn't 2HKO it whereas Blaze Kick can on something variants.

Need a moveset to Lapras? How about this:

Curse Lapras
Ability: Water Absorb
Item: Leftovers
Nature: Carefull
EVs: 252 HP/6 Atk/252 SpD
Moveset: Curse/Rest/SleepTalk/Waterfall

Lapras is bulky and has pretty bad speed so its perfect for Curse and water is a pretty good coverage type only being not very effective against Grass, Dragon and Water. Sleep Talk gives you the ability to power up and attack while sleeping.
You can have full SpDef evs for maximun stopping power but its weak to Fighting, thunderpunch and razorleaf when not powered so watch out.

Why is Baton Pass listed on the Sceptile set?

EDIT: It's odd how Fire Punch, admittedly the best coverage move it has among the punches, is not listed on Kangashkan, unless I'm suddenly forgetful and that it has no access to it.

Why Should I do 140EVs on speed?
LVL 50: Marowark 45 Spd-Base reaches 106SPD (if its jolly)
and the next faster pokemon that is available here has got 48Base Speed (110Spd in total)

Metagross Adamant 132Spd-EV = 107 Spd and 140Spd-EV = 108 Spd
so is it to be faster than a 132SPD-EV metagross or are your calculations for lvl 100 Battles?
