Hi, So I guess I haven't played this game in approximately a year and was wondering what I should do?

I believe I've collected all the badges so the four islands has opened up, and I dont think breeding existed back when I was playing. Not sure how people really make cash in this game either or why I have so many smeargles

Because they can breed with anything in the ground egg group

I'd imagine purposely, because Genesect + Genocide
