Tournament Specific Rules:

• You may only use moves that are the same type as your Pokemon including normal type moves.

  EX. Ryhdon can use any Ground type move/Rock type move + damage inflicting normal type moves, which includes Hidden Power.

• Only normal type moves that involve direct damage will be allowed to be used on any Pokemon. This includes Hidden Power.
• You CAN use the moves Whirlwind, Roar and Haze on ANY Pokemon.
•  Non damaging normal type moves cannot be used. Not even on normal type Pokemon
• Breaking these rules will result in automatic Disqualification

Registration Method: Post your IGN in this thread once registration has occurred. I will allow two sign ups per forum account, given they are in different posts. Test posting in this thread will result in being unable to participate in the tournament. Please only sign up players who have asked you to in order to prevent any confusion the day of the tournament. Registration is based on Forum Time. Registration will be first come, first serve.

 

If you are on the bracket for this tournament and cannot attend please send me a PM, or post in the thread letting me know you cannot make it, this lessens the time it takes for signs ups the day of the tournament. Thanks in advance.

 

Notes: 

• Do not AFK Timeout your opponent unless your referee has stated you may. 
• Disconnecting during a match when result in a DQ.
• Do not block your opponents, or the Staff running the Event. If there is evidence of this and disregarding staff requesting you to unblock said individuals you will be DQ'd.  
• Volpi Clause (requesting to change channels for your matches) will not be allowed for this tournament. Entrants are encouraged to uncheck "Render Overworld in Battle". (Menu -> Settings -> Video).
• Tournament Mode must be used for all duels.

Okay so after some search and help, 3:00PM EDT is actually 7:00 PM GMT.

 

It will be 8:00 GMT +1, 9:00 GMT +2 and so forth

Tier - UU is my favorite to watch and ref. If you go back and look most of my tournaments are in the UU tier.

Prize - wynaut, its a nice shiny that hasn't been given as a prize in a while.

I vaguely recall seeing the discussion for what should be banned and I'm wonder why grumpig was banned but none of the other calm minders are banned (hypno, mr mime, girafarig)

hypno cant heal like the others can unless it goes skill swap/rest leaving 2 slots for one attacking move and cm or 2 attacking moves. this severely limits hypno as a calm minder. mime i tried to get banned but no one agreed. giraf was nu at the time and no one thought of it.

I'll do my best, but the only reason i played that was shiny teddi, shiny shuckle isn't on my list of favorites shinies...so if i have nothing better to do i'll play, or i'll just lend my pokes to someone from the team and let him/her play
