Registration Rules:

Reserves and Contenders will have 1 week from the date of posting to confirm their entry via PM.

If you are a forum banned user you may message the host on Teamspeak.

 

Clauses:

Standard Tournament Mode Clauses + Time Clause

 

Notes: 

Do not AFK Timeout your opponent unless your referee has stated you may. 

Disconnecting during a match when result in a DQ.

Do not block your opponents, or the Staff running the Event. If there is evidence of this and disregarding staff requesting you to unblock said individuals you will be DQ'd.  

Volpi Clause (requesting to change channels for your matches) will not be allowed for this tournament. Entrants are encouraged to uncheck "Render Overworld in Battle". (Menu -> Settings -> Video).

Tournament Mode must be used for all duels.

And yea soooooo much work with exams and stuff, this should definitely be on saturday at a more appropriate time for europeans (yea as usual I'm complaining about the timezone) but this is underdogs final tournament, why not let europeans not play at a time that really sucks. Saturday mid-day 'murican time and medio-late european time is definitely the best if you ask me. Just like the masters.

Double elimination also takes very long, I could imagine this dragging out till 2-3AM at that point Americans do have an advantage because it's really hard to think clearly at such a time lol. But w/e I won finals in 5am before with a half dead brain, I'll do it again.

Real talk though, can we get one last invite event? (technically a 1st reserve spot, since there are already 16 invites given out)

 

There were 6 invites given out for September alone, but we've only had 3 for this entire year. It's super depressing for the newer (~6 months and newer) folks to see this awesome event that we barely had a chance to qualify for and, from what we've heard from staff, probably won't happen again.
