Moetal
@Magi Can you provide all the sprites you made this week in 64x64 format? Also, I'm actually going to let you do shiny sprite also (only need the front) since I seem to wreck the palette every time I try and you have better color sense than me anyways. On side note, you can actually change your GUI to make all your Moemon females (or male, or genderless). All you have to do is put this file into your data/themes/default/textures folder and replace. I recommend you to save a copy of the original in case you want to turn that female sign back to male. Blue for tomboy Moemons, and Pink for girly Moemons. If you are using another theme, please stick this in that theme folder's textures folder instead. Edit: Please note the gender symbols are purposely misaligned by the Pokemmo team. I could realign them if needed. @anjelo Please see above. Link to comment
Rache
Added eyebrows. I tried editing the face a bit to be closer to the old one, but it was literally the worst thing ever so I left it be. Link to comment
Jasongamer64
...So uh..You're gonna need shiny eh? Link to comment
McMagister
@Moetal Will shiny palettes have to be the same order as the regular palette? @anyone Current beedrill WIP, please advise. Kamigoroshi 1 Link to comment

Moetal
@Magi Yes, the shiny must be in the same order as the front sprite. Upper thigh is a bit short/lower leg too long. The other leg feels like it's a bit too left and not joining her at the hip. Make the right shoulder maybe 1 or 2 pixels closer to the face. Link to comment
anjelocarreon
@Magi More fiercer! and that's what you call metamorphosis the shed skin ability of kakuna really pays off! I think @Moetal doesn't want the "eye" in the head... Link to comment
McMagister
Hey,You think I can help out? I did a few shiny a while ago. As Moetal said, the shiny sprite must be an 8-bit .png and the shiny palette must be in the same order as the regular front sprite palette. Do you understand this, or is this gibberish to you? McMagister
I understand. I had a little experience with this type of thing. Excellent! If you can do the shinies it would be a great help. @Moetal Please continue advising. As angelo said, "eyes" or no eyes? Kamigoroshi 1 Link to comment
Jasongamer64
@Magi I can get another guy to help too. Just tell me what I should say to him. And be a little specific,Cause he needs all the details. Link to comment

Moetal
@Magi I personally prefer no eyes. Maybe give her a hairband for those two antennas also. Link to comment
McMagister
@Moetal, Kami Now I'm in a pickle. Also imagine a third option with eyes and hairband, for those so inclined. Also moetal please give jason the full instructions for shiny colouring, since you would know the technical details better than I would. Kamigoroshi 1 Link to comment
Moetal
@Jason In a 8 bit sprite, you can have a certain number of colors, and the full set of colors you are using is called a 'palette'. In case of Pokemon/Moemon, we have 16 colors. For space saving purpose, the game only saves the sprite once. It will read your sprite with it's normal palette, then a second time as shiny by using a different palette. Let's say the arrangement of my normal sprite is Black/Brown/Red/Green. If the color changed for shiny is Red and Green to Blue and Yellow respectively, then you must make a palette of Black/Brown/Blue/Yellow. If your palette is Brown/Black/Yellow/Blue or any other order, then your Shiny will have mixed up colors. How you actually check the palette is depending on your tool/program. I specifically uses a program called IrfanView for the sake of making Shinnies. Edit: @Magi Try what Kami said below; ear muffs. Link to comment
Kamigoroshi
@Magi The third option actually sounds pretty neat. Kind of like ear muffs, so to speak. Link to comment
McMagister
Ear muffs version Kamigoroshi 1 Link to comment
Moetal
@Magi Still prefer just the hairband version. Link to comment
Rache
The version with the earmuffs better suits Beedrill than the one with only the headband. Beedrill's eyes are one of its defining features, and not showing them in some way doesn't represent the Pokemon very well. Link to comment
McMagister
Let's vote on it. I have no particular preference so I'll sit out. Link to comment
Kamigoroshi
Yup, ear muffs version stays truer to the pokemon in question and thus gets my vote as well. Link to comment
axx
So @Kelarr's idea a possibility? i think editing this file will do: pokeMMO\data\gui\res\icons\gender_icons.png edit: welp, i read the last page and moetal already told you where to find the file Link to comment
