I think the colors are a bit off, but she's alright design for an edit. Try to enlarge both her hands (and the backsprite hand) and it should be good to go. Gorebyss could use some enlargement, while Huntail needs full revamp.

Her hat on the back sprite doesn't match the clam shell shape that's on the front sprite.  Also, maybe it's just me, but her hair reminds me of Audino.

She obviously needs more work and more shuppet-like-features. But if the design doesnt interest you ill probably scrap the shuppet and the half banette i was working on.
I want to make it look like shes running so i can have the biiig flowy sleeves, but as always, im too linear.
Feedback is the best motivation to keep going :)

I made an attempt at Banette...  I'm not sure I like it yet.  I might try again tomorrow.  I don't know, but I'm just not feeling super inspired recently.

How is this for a few edits to your WIP?  I'm thinking the hair might have to go the other direction to match the hat.  Also, version one is with the Banette doll and version two is without.

Banette sprite's leg that's bent looks weird, calf looks super skinny. Angle looks weird too, I don't think most people could touch their butt with their feet like that unless they were sitting on them. Looks like their isn't enough emphasis that the thigh is bigger/in front.

CW's Banette (after Doom's edits) looks more like the 'mon, but I like the design of Doom's Banette more.  I'd like to see a combination of the two; like have Doom's Banette wear more black and dark grey (it's not the mega form, after all), and maybe give it the same hat from CW's Banette with the yellow zipper instead of the red goggles.  The yellow spikey tail that Banette has could also be added in the shape of an accessory of some kind.

Lol that banette really was just my starting sketch. It wasnt quite ready for minor edits. Everything is being adjusted, hence, the gap in her hair.
I think itd be cool if both doom and i worked on our versions and then scienced them together.
Also i can totally touch my behind with my foot i just cant keep it there >.>

Hooray for collaboration! I don't feel like the posture and clothes of my sprite captures the spirit of Banette, where as the clothes and posture of CW's does.  I'll try working on the legs, face, and hair to science the two together.  However, we could totally reuse my sprite for another Moemon... I'm just not sure which one.  Any ideas? 

 

I'm liking Mewtwo so far but... wouldn't Mewtwo's legs be colliding?  Shouldn't the right one be pointed out a little bit?

I had a lot of fun with the Moemon patch!

Second, it's very minor, but I decided to make ditto close it's eyes.

 

I can't make a 128x128 without it having abysmal quality.

Thanks! ^_^  I think she's really cute, too.  So I will go ahead and make the full sprite sheet.  Then people can have an alternative option.

 

One of my favorite Pokemon of all time was Scyther, even though its attacks aren't the best.  I just thought Scyther was so cool!  I mean, come one... a raptor with blades for arms is pretty scary!  So, I wanted to remake the Scyther sprite to something a bit more terrifying.

Hello Everyone,

I'm Slash. I've been a Moemon admirer for few years already and I wanted to say, what all of you are doing here is just great ;)
 

Despite what other people, who aren't familiar with the idea, might say, I enjoy playing Moemon because they renew the Pokemon experience for me :)
 

I'm rather a closed minded guy who thinks Gen I is the best.
So with all the new Pokemons coming in hundreds over the years, the whole concept became rather tiring. Many new generations gave us vary unoriginal and hideous Pokemons :mellow:

But thanks to the Moemon idea, that changed those Pokemons into something less confusing and familiar. Young girls cosplaying as Pokemons ^ _ ^  (I think adding some boy sprites could give a better PR)
And just like that hunting for new creatures became interesting again because I never know what new Sprite will appear. Changing the boredom of a lame design into excitement  : D
 

Also after I've learned how to edit and change sprites the game became a project of it won. Adding that much more points to the Moemons. Because there as many Moemons as there are artists ;)

So...as I can't add much to the Moemon Fire Red Revival Project as an editor, I'm always open to leave a comment or an idea about all your amazing pixel work  ^_^

Science on Banette sounds like a good idea.

Your Wingull looks pretty good, but I think her face needs a bit more work.  Also, that sailor Moemon is actually supposed to be Pelipper (which needs to be updated, anyway.)

As for Scyther, besides her dress, socks, and shoes, you should also revisit her hair, because right now I can't look at it without thinking it's Youmu with a scythe and wings.  I think once more of the details from the artwork are incorporated into the sprite, it'll look more like it's own thing.

Are you people going to finish any of your creations?  All there has been for over a month is an amalgamation of sprites, unfinished. This project is not advancing. Moetal can't even help you guys because there are just so many of them. Furthermore, everyone is working on different moemons at once, which gets even more confusing.

 

Everything would be much easier if you all worked on the same pokemon at once.

I think the general consensus is that the male only Pokémon should be changed to male.

 

I think the Heartgold project could use gender alternate sprite since that's actually a feature of forth generation. I don't know the technicalities of that so you may want to bumb that thread if you think you can get somewhere with that.
