      Welcome to PokeMMO! This is the PokeMMO Code of Conduct, which states how we moderate the various services provided by us (Forums, In-Game, IRC). You are required to follow this Code of Conduct while using our Forums and playing the Game: 1. Rules related to "Chat" and communication with other users: a. You may not harass, threaten, embarrass or cause distress and/or unwanted attention to other persons using our Service (Players and PokeMMO's Staff). This includes posting insulting, offensive, or abusive comments about people, repeatedly sending unwanted messages, reporting players maliciously, attacking a player based on race, sexual orientation, religion, heritage, etc. b. You may not spam, flood, or repeatedly make duplicate posts. Messages composed of gibberish ("fjdklasjfld" "asdfsafdsa" "uiouoiuoiuoi") are considered spam. c. You may not impersonate any PokeMMO staff (volunteer or employed.) d. You may not solicit, advertise, or promote any services other than PokeMMO via PokeMMO's services (forums, in game, irc, etc). e. You may not upload, attempt to distribute files, or facilitate the distribution of files that contain viruses, corrupted data, or any other malicious software. f. You may not distribute or facilitate distribution of any pirated or illegal software while using PokeMMO's Services. g. You may not transmit, distribute, or facilitate distribution of any person's personal information (name, account name, telephone number, address, etc.) h. You may not transmit, post, link to, or facilitate distribution of any sexually explicit, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, infringing, obscene, hateful, vulgar, racially or ethnically offensive imagery or content. i. You will follow the instructions of PokeMMO's Staff while using PokeMMO's Services.   2. Rules related to Gameplay: In addition to all rules defined by Section 1 of the Code of Conduct: a. You may not exploit errors in design, features which have not been documented, or "bugs" to gain access which is otherwise not available, or to gain an advantage over other players. b. You may not communicate any exploitable issues (defined in Section 2 Paragraph A of the Code of Conduct) either directly or through public posting, to any other users of PokeMMO. c. While participating in Player vs Player (PvP) gameplay, You may not participate in any form of match manipulation. Match manipulation is defined as any action taken to manipulate the outcome of a match, or alter or manipulate any official rankings. d. You may not use cheats, automation software (bots), macros, hacks or any third-party software which can be detrimental to other users' experience, nor will you relay or store any items for other users who are using these processes. e. You may not exploit the game or any of its parts for any commercial purpose, including without limitation: I. Gathering in-game currency, items or resources for sale outside the Game (commonly known as "Real Money Trading") II. Performing in-game services in exchange for payment outside the game. III. For use at a cyber cafe, computer gaming center or any other location-based site without the express written consent of PokeMMO.   3. Rules related to Usernames: When you choose a character name or a username or otherwise create a label which can be seen by other users when using our Services, you must abide by the following guidelines. You may not use any Username which: a. Belongs to another person with the intent to impersonate that person, including PokeMMO's Employees, Volunteers and any other user of PokeMMO's Services; b. Incorporates offensive racial, ethic, national, or cultural connotations; c. Is sexually suggestive or pornographic; d. References any form of criminal activity or drugs; e. Makes inappropriate references to the human anatomy or bodily functions; f. Uses misspellings or alternative spellings of any of the above guidelines.   These guidelines may not cover all inappropriate or disallowed names. PokeMMO reserves the right to reject any name it concludes, at its sole discretion, to be indecent, obscene, offensive, or otherwise violates the naming guidelines. 4. Miscellaneous Rules: In addition to all rules defined by Sections 1 and 2 of the Code of Conduct: a. You may not attempt to or facilitate any attempts to bypass any restrictions set in place against user accounts or characters. b. Exploits (as defined by Section 2, Paragraph A of this document) must be communicated to PokeMMO's Staff within a reasonable timeframe either via PokeMMO's Website or the e-mail address:[email protected] c. You may not use any unauthorized third-party software that intercepts or otherwise collects information from or through the Game or Service, including without limitation any software that reads areas of RAM used by the game, any program which reads and attempts to manipulate network traffic between your Game Client and the Game Server. d. You agree that You will not, under any circumstances violate any applicable law or regulation in connect with Your use of the Game or PokeMMO's Services. e. You may not disrupt or assist in the disruption of: I. Any computer used to support the Services (each "Server") II. Any other player's Game experience   5. Forum-specific policies: The rules in this section apply specifically to the forums at https://forums.pokemmo.eu/ a. You are required to use the English language when using the PokeMMO forums. Posts written in other languages are required to have an English translation appended to the post.     6. Violation Reports: If you find a player who is violating the Code of Conduct on these forums, please take the time to report it to us by using the Report button under their post, or the Report button in their profile. If you find a player in-game who you suspect is violating this code of conduct, please take the time to report it to us in the Player Reports section of this forum: https://forums.pokemmo.eu/index.php?/forum/28-player-reports/   7.       Rules for Client Customization - Read Before Posting!   04/30/2016

      1.) All global forum rules apply here, they can be seen here; http://forums.pokemm...-gameforumsirc/ 2.) If you're going to be negative, always give constructive criticism as to why you feel that way. Criticizing work just for the sake of criticizing it/being rude will result in your post being hidden. 3.) Only owners of the thread can double post, and the conditions for them doing so must be to display new customization(s). Try to make use of the edit button provided to you if you feel that you left something out. 4.) No going off topic, unless it is in some way related to the original post. Going off topic in a thread will result in your off topic posts being hidden/deleted. 5.) No request threads, if you wish to request a user make you something, PM them personally, or find a shop that fits the details of your wants. 6.) Do not post other people's work without permission, whether this be in a thread, or AS a thread. 7.) If you do use other people's work within your own, be sure to credit them for what they have done. 8.) Always keep thread titles accurate, and free of inappropriate language. Self-censored curse words will be considered as inappropriate. If a thread's title does not meet these guidelines it will be changed. 9.) Does anyone happen to know if there's a Sprite Position Editor for Platinum?

I managed to stumble upon a Moemon Platinum but the backsprites are cutting off their midsections and I know the one included with Magikarp-tan isn't going to do it :p

 

(Btw, love the work here; just wish the Revival Project "resurrected" ;D)

(Really though, what you do is appreciated)

Is there a particular set of skills required to continue this project? I've only just stumbled across this and what has already been achieved is amazing. It would be a shame to let it die.

I don't know if anyone is actually working on anything right now, but the two skills most likely to help are sprite ripping and sprite art.

 

HeavyMecha was working on the sprite rips last I heard.

 

For B/W 80x80 of the Unova starter lines. Any fifth gen pokemon in 80x80 would be helpful. OtherPlayers hasn't said much and I don't blame him/her with the lack of sprites to work with.

 

I won't be able to work on the mega386plus project sooner than Summer. The most helpful thing would be 64x64 Megas of the Kanto starters. The ROM has 802 slots already so I won't be pushing any limits soon.

Is it possible for someone to atleast add in the sprites that we're recently finished,they look better than the old ones. I asked moetal,but got no reply-(Sry for bad English)

Yeah, you put together sprites for me to import and I'll do my best to bundle them into a release, but without sprites there's not much for me to do here. :P

All of them(494 to 649)

 

A decent trick to get quality first forms is to fuse and old first and second forms with the second form as a base. However, there aren't even old versions of many of these for gen 5. Here's one full line of some normal type, Snivy, Serperior, and two emboars. Remember that you got 14 extra pixels each direction for the large moes.

While we're on the subject, I think an updated Magikarp-tan would honor the project's 3rd year anniversary (with it having started just this past March, three years ago).

 

I'm not versed in the arts, but I thought I'd throw the idea out there.

Well if nothing more is going to happen I might as well post some stuff I have:

 

I kept around one of the releases that was a sprite mod for PokeMMO and have added a lot of the updated sprites to it: https://www.dropbox.com/s/kyws9c8fhq43zlt/Moemon Revival Project Razar51 Edit.zip?dl=0

You should be able to just throw the .zip into the mods folder and load it into PokeMMO.

 

I made a python script to make it easier to take compiled sprites (where all 4 sprites are stitched into 1 image) and split them into the 4 separate images with specific names required for sprite mods: https://www.dropbox.com/s/crylhiken7dh9l2/ImageSplit.py?dl=0

I never heard of Pokemon Moemon until the last month

 

the first thinking was, oh man whats that... a friend asked me to put it on his 3ds.

After I almost finish it by the end of the game, i have to say some sprites are a bit to much Childish-looking and make me feel a bit wierd to catch them

but also how much fun this game was with a more human-look like style and this time i nearly catched every pokemon, just to see them.

I also tried to moemon omega fire red roms from others, But compared to them this was the only one i really liked.

 

Just wanted to say thanks to all, who helped to create the 2.0 ips patch.

You guys did a very good job, i would pay 10€ for this modification.

Doesnt know anything about rom hacking and style creation, but if you create a next moemon (hope with this quality) i offer you a small webspace + privatecloud capacity (30GB) on my server for 2 years.

Hey I'm new here, just came across it looking for Moemon roms! Sprites look amazing nothing like any other I've seen (although I've only played moemon for like 2 weeks...) point is this is a great project and it has what seems to be an awesome community working on it!
