It's my own composition and I like to play stuff from the memory so I didn't use any notes (I could write them down if asked). I didn't use any website, this was recorded with my electric piano plugged in as my computer's external microphone. My left ear really enjoyed this. Oh damn, would you look at that. For some reason the melody seems to get to the left side even if this all was played in one track.. weird. Strych 1 Link to comment

Barrage Posted March 4, 2014 Share Posted March 4, 2014 Here's my entry. Sorry for somewhat sub-par quality. Any musicians, also please excuse my somewhat inconsistent and poor notation practices. I thought of doing something a bit more elaborate with soundfonts and such, but in the end it required me to work with multiple tracks and learn some new software, so I opted out of that. I just chose a midi sound in my notation program that I thought sounded nice. This style is also a bit reminiscent of the very bare bones sound of the 4-track chiptunes they used to make. If anything, I think it sounds a little bit like Pokemon, anyway. I chose the town after writing it all. I thought it was most fitting of Vermillion since it kept reminding me of the sea by sunset. I could hear waves and gull cries over the music in my head. And no idk shit about making music this is my first try ever and no idk about how "Music notes" work and no I don't play any instruments myself in this video cuz I don't know how to play any lol. I used GarageBand making this but I tried staying original as you can see here I did use a lot of different instruments, making the volumes rise different places and other stuff which I don't know the english words for and is too lazy to translate so here you go with my entry haha :P I only entered this because it looked like fun!
