This is a guide to the value of each individual tm. The idea is to set up a tier system to help people get a idea of the value of each tm. Value is subjective of course and subject to change so this isn’t “set in stone”. 

 

 

if you think a tm is in the wrong tier leave a comment explaining why. 

things to think about when placing a tm in a tier:

• how easy is it to get? can it be bought? do you have to run a alter to get it? how far along in the story is it?
• what are it's uses? how often are they used and for what pokemon?
• can tm "X" be easily traded for tm "Y" in the same tier? vice versa?

I don't mind this. Maybe you could take a poll by asking top competitors how they would value tms then organize each tm in the tier from most valuable to least

Tms are worthless I can spam trade and get noobs to give me any tm I want for a random poke.

Just because people are dumb enough to trade for tms doesn't mean we need a thread for it.

Last time someone traded psychics for an egg, it was 100 psychic TMs for 1 egg. Food for thought.

I dunno if I'd call that the last time someone traded psychic TMs for an egg.. Maybe the only time it was a trade of ONLY psychic TMs, but recently people have traded and egg for anywhere between 10-20 good TMs.

 

Oh and one time i got a shiny paras for like 4 hidden power, that was cool.

The last time I'm aware of, I should say. And considering how alt runs have been nerfed I wouldn't be surprised if 20-30 was enough now

The obedience nerf. Its now much harder and more time consuming to do alt runs.

Sort of relevant, are game corner tm's still worth having as potential rewards in player held events or have they lost all value?

They still have value, just not as much as some people think.  IE worth less than shinies, but perfectly valid for unofficial tourneys cuz we're poor n shit and I don't have shinies to spare
