Here's a part of the list of items which are now hold-able and where to find them. Also, Tradeable items from Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald are not mentioned here.

Format is :

Item - Effect - Where to find the said item.


Amulet Coin - Doubles monetary earnings from battles - Route 16 (40 Pokemon in Pokedex required)

Black Belt - Boosts Fighting-type attacks - Cant obtain in game.

Blackglasses - Boosts Dark-type attacks by 10% - Team Rocket Hideout, The floor on which Giovanni is.

 

Blue Shard - Used to buy move tutor moves from the NPC on Island 6 - Wild Qwilfish

Charcoal - Boosts Fire-type attacks by 10% - Celadon City Game Corner. 

 

Choice Band - Held Battle item, boosts attack by 50% - Trainer Tower (bought with battle points)

Cleanse Tag - Reduces wild Pokemon encounter rates. (Function not implemented) - Pokemon Tower (The person beside the healing squares.)

Deepseascale - Doubles Clamperl's Special Defense; Evolves Clamperl into Gorebyss when traded from RSE - Cant obtain in game

Deepseatooth - Doubles Clamperl's Special Attack. Evolves Clamperl into Huntail when traded from RSE. - Cant obtain in game 

Dragon Fang - Boosts Dragon-type attacks by 10%. - Wild Dragonair.

Dragon Scale - Evolves Seadra when traded - Wild Dratini.

Everstone - Prevents evolution. - Route 10 (Rock Tunnel Pokemon Center, 20 Pokemon in Pokedex required)

Exp Share - Pokemon holding this receives half of the earned EXP even if it is not sent into battle - Route 15 (50 Pokemon in Pokedex required)

Focus Band - Sometimes prevents fainting from a KO move. - Wild Machoke

 

Green Shard - Used to buy move tutor moves from the NPC on Island 5 - Wild Relicanth

 

Hard Stone - Boosts Rock-type attacks by 10% - Wild Graveler/Onix

King's Rock - May cause additional flinching when held by attacking pokemon - Wild Poliwhirl and Seavault Canyon Island 7

Lax Incense - Reduces the opponent's accuracy; Use it to breed for Wynaut - Lost Cave 

Leftovers - Recovers 1/16th HP each turn - Route 12 and Route 16 (Wherever Snorlax was sleeping/blocking your path - Use Itemfinder ON the spot where Snorlax once was.)

Lucky Egg - Increases the amount of experience earned by the pokemon holding it by 50% - Wild Chansey

Lucky Punch - Raises Chansey's Critical Hit Ratio - Sevault Canyon 

Macho Brace - Doubles Effort Points earned, but lowers speed to half. - Viridian Gym (Giovanni's spot - Use Itemfinder)

Magnet - Boosts Electric-type attacks by 10% - Wild Magneton

Metal Coat - Boosts Steel-type attacks by 10% - Wild Magnemite.

Metal Powder - Raises Ditto's Defense (And attack, correct me if wrong.) - Wild Ditto

Miracle Seed - Boosts Grass-type attacks by 10% - Celadon City Game Corner 

Mystic Water - Boosts Water-type attacks by 10% - Celadon City Game Corner 

Nevermeltice - Boosts Ice-type by 10% attacks - Wild Dewgong (Thanks Tenebris!)

Poison Barb - Boosts Poison-type attacks by 10% - Wild Arbok

Quick Claw - Pokemon holding it may attack first - Safari Zone

 

Red Shard - Used to buy move tutor moves from the NPC on Island 7 - Wild Corsola

Sea Incense - Boosts Water-type attacks - Lost Cave 

Sharp Beak - Boosts Flying-type attacks by 10% - Wild Fearow

Silk Scarf - Boosts Normal-type attacks - Lost Cave 

Silverpowder - Boosts Bug-type attacks by 10% - Wild Venomoth

Smoke Ball - Flee from a wild Pokemon without fail. - Celadon Game Corner 

Soft Sand - Boosts Ground-type attacks - Wild Sandslash

Soothe Bell - A pokemon's happiness rises faster. - Pokemon Tower (Mr. Fuji's spot - Use Itemfinder)

Spell Tag - Boosts Ghost-type attacks by 10% - Wild Haunter 

 

Stick - Raises Farfetch'd's Critical Hit ratio - Vermilion City (Trade Farfetch'd)

Thick Club - Doubles Cubone and Marowak's Attack - Wild Cubone and Marowak

Twisted Spoon - Boosts Psychic-type attacks by 10% - Wild Abra and Kadabra

Yellow Flute - Cures confusion when played - Celadon City Game Corner 

 

Yellow Shard - Used to buy move tutor moves from the NPC on Island 1 - Wild Chinchou

Bike - Allows you to move around the world faster - Exchange with a Bike Voucher at Cerulean City Bike Shop

Bike Voucher - Exchange for a Bike - Obtain from Chairman of Vermilion City Pokemon Fan Club

Card Key - Unlocks all doors at Silph Co. - Silph Co. 5th Floor

Coin Case - Holds 9999 Casino coins - Celadon City Cafe

Dome Fossil - Resurrect to become Kabuto - Mt. Moon (Fossil on the left.)

Gold Teeth - Belongs to the Fuchsia Safari Warden - Safari Zone

Good Rod - Fish for medium-levelled water Pokemon - Fuchsia City, Beside the warden's house

Helix Fossil - Resurrect to become Omanyte - Mt Moon (Fossil on the right.)

Itemfinder - Detects hidden items in close proximity - Route 12 (Need 30 pokemon)

Lift Key - Allows the use of the elevator in Team Rocket's Celadon Hideout - Celadon City Rocket HQ

Oak's Parcel - A parcel for Professor Oak - Viridian City Pokemart

Old Amber - Resurrect to become Aerodactyl - Pewter City Museum back entrance

Old Rod - Fish for low-levelled water Pokemon - Vermilion City

Pokeflute - Wakes up sleeping Pokemon - Lavender Town, rescue Mr. Fuji from Pokemon Tower

Rainbow Pass - Allows passage to Islands #4, #5, #6 and #7 - One Island

Tea - Give to the Saffron Guards to get through the checkposts - Celadon Mansion, A.K.A the mansion where eevee is found.

Town Map - A map of the Kanto and Rainbow Islands Region - Daisy in Pallet Town, beside your own house

Tri Pass - Allows passage to Islands #1, #2 and #3 - Three Island 

VS Seeker - Detects trainers wishing to battle - Woman inside Vermilion City Pokemon Center.
