What: Pixel Art Pokemon egg creation contest

 

Where: The Forums

 

When: August 14th 1:00am EDT to August 28th 11:00PM EDT

 

Prize: 500RP Hat

 

Back story: Professor Oak's Porygon, Pori, is trying to program the Pokedex to contain data of every Pokemons' egg designs, but is having a hard time finding information on what most Pokemons' eggs look like! Pori has asked for your help in finding these egg designs!

 

Rules:

  1. The Egg must be a 28x30 (.jpg .gif or .png format) and use the outline border of the following Eggs:​​  EGGDEFAULT1_zps648851e3.png EGGDEFAULT2_zpscc859526.png?t=1375349440 EGGDEFAULT3_zps3ca8bc6c.png Note: The Eggs provided are the required size and shape, but shading may be changed if you want.
  2. The Egg must resemble and be named after the unevolved level of the Pokémon. First-evolution Pokémon, and second-evolution Pokémon cannot have Eggs with  first-evolution Pokémon, and second-evolution Pokémon inside (so No "Dragonite Egg", "Wartortle Egg" etc.!).(Excluding Wobbufet, Marill, Mantine, Roselia, Sudowoodo, Chimeco, Chansey, Snorlax)
  3. The Pokémon Egg must be a Pokémon that is able to be in an Egg.
  4. For a full list of banned Pokémon, see below.
  5. The Egg must be of your own design. (please provide the .psd file or other proof of originality)
  6. You must post "This is my entry #(National Pokédex number) [Insert Pokémon name] Egg:" followed by a single picture of your design.
  7. No Novelty Pokémon Eggs like Crystal Onix, the Pinken Island Pokémon, or the Mewtwo cloned Pokémon. Keep it to the mainstream coloration of the species.
  8. Porygon and Fossil Pokémon are in Egg Groups, so such eggs are admissible as entries.
  9. Pokémon Eggs cannot have anything jutting or poking out. This makes them look like Digimon eggs. 
  10. Each person must submit two(2) different eggs, to avoid conflicts with multiple of the same Pokemon.
  11. The first submission will be chosen for judging at first, unless an earlier submission already chose that Pokemon, then the second submission will be picked for judging.

Well this sure is fun to make one, :3 Somehow I have a feeling that Totodile egg's design seem to be really off, like, hard to identify as a Totodile. Oh, and I hope that SHINY* Beldum is acceptable since I see nothing in rules that against it. Also, HI CONNAR! :3 

 

EDITED: I fixed the shiny beldum, now it's in normal color. :P
