In my experiance, it feels so exciting that you found a shiny, like always, but then you realize you're in the safari zone and you automatically give up all hope, inside you're like "F*****************************CK" on the outside you look like this[spoiler][/spoiler] Then you throw bait and it runs away. Stupid blue Psyduck...

I know someone else who had a similar situation like yours. AestheticBrahs encountered a Shiny Dratini but it ran away. I guess you could say yours is kind of worse since Scyther is more rare and harder to catch than a dratini.

In other news, that encounter music should be played whenever people run into shinies. It was great pokemon battle music. :)
