[Denied]False Swipe TM

I could have sworn I remembered seeing a suggestion like this once but I couldn't find it again, if someone has the link just post it here so I can bump it and this can be trashed...

Anyways.

I think that a false swipe TM should be added. It isn't anything that would break the meta game of comp play and it would make hunting pokemon a lot easier. It was added in later generations as TM54 and I don't really see a reason why it shouldn't be added (unless implementing it would be a bitch, or if adding it to the available moves for pokemon would be hard). I figure it could be in the game corner for like 2000 coins. Alternately a move tutor who could teach it.

Either TM54 for continuity's sake or literally any number after 50

It's a TM in DPP, which I do not think should be implemented. Why don't we add TM Thunder Wave or TM Substitute while we're at it

The difference is that adding those would impact the comp metagame. False Swipe doesn't.

The thing is, if we add it, every noob and their mother will ask "What about TM 55?!" "GM Where TM 77"

Since the move isn't a TM in gen 3, no pokemon will have it in their list of available moves other than the ones who learn it as an egg move. So this sounds like a lot of work for something which you already have available to Farfetch'd, Marowak, Scyther, Scizor and Smeargle.

These 3 threads contains ideas about more but among them adding False swipe as TM and how they like to see it been added.

Since it wasn't a TM in Gen3, how would they go about deciding which pokemon to assign learning ability to? Later Gen Lists?

For simplicity's sake I'd just use a Smeargle or Scyther...

Because it's not in the original game data and we are not going to make strings directly referencing copyrighted material to distribute in the client.
