I got an harder question... what if the player is roleplaying a character (like Ash for example) but draws his character entirely? would it look suspicious?
Cause a friend of mine is roleplaying as Blue, the char is really similar, and she's drawing her ... is it possible?

Woah, great initiative! I actually saw quite a lot there that I missed here, anyway, here's mine, like Jorda I tried to give it an "official" look like it was drawn by Sugimori himself (in my case it wasn't his best day...) and I'm quite happy with it, lots of hard competition here tho, you guys are real talented! I specially dig GhostyTrickster's one, very classy like neo-retro-pop or something like that.

Just stopping in for my first post ever. ;u; I'm not done with my submission yet, but I wanted to make sure that it's okay for the contest, seeing as they're based on official characters Manga wise. I tried to make the drawing more true to the screenshot so far though, aside from Silver (SiIverr) who I'll make more like their in game character when I finish transfering it into photoshop. I have eons of proof that I drew it. (Not that this art is worth stealing, but hey, I can prove this crud is mine.) And I can provide a reversed image link that says I didn't get the ideas from anyone else.... Yeahhhh... Rambling!

TL:DR
Is it okay they're based off of manga characters because the in game characters are meant to look like them. I have proof my art is origional and mine.
