[Denied]Allow The Pokemon Following Us To Be Bigger

Recommended Posts

In game, the pokemon following you can at maximum be just shorter than you. This is fine for Pidgey and other small pokemon, but it looks weird on say a Charizard. I know it'd take up too much space to have them at real size compared to the player, but could we at least make it so that they can be up to a size where the player is at their shoulder level, like in HG/SS?

You do know that these sprites following us are the ones from HeartGold and SoulSilver?

Believe it or not, Charizard isn't even that tall. It's, according to the Pokedex, 5'07''. That is barely taller than a trainer, so it only makes sense that it comes up to around the same size as the player in-game. A pokemon like Steelix on the other hand, who is way too long of a pokemon, has to stand up so it does not take up more than one tile, so it is huge.

And yeah, the sprites are directly from HG/SS, so they're all the proper size. Even the trainer sprites are from HG/SS. You're getting the genuine sprite experience.

Charizard is much taller than the trainer.

And no, our trainer sprites are not from HG/SS. And the pokemon in pokemmo are obviously downsized even though they are from HG/SS.

Our trainer sprites aren't from HG/SS, correct. They're inspired by that game. They're not downsized. I'm pretty sure the client just calls in the sprites from those roms, I could be mistaken though.

Oh man. Could you imagine bigger Wailords one day? Wailords will take over the city one day if were in proportion to the trainer.

Go back to school, learn to read, read the first post again, and then you can reply.

The sprites are fine! Be happy with what you got because in other games pokemon don't follow you at all.
There are a lot more important issues to fix in the game than make charizard taller just because according to you it looks weird.

Oh c'mon that's the "giant" dragonite. It's stated in bulbapedia that they aren't that big...

Imagine if the follower sprite would have its original size.
