With the new update, come the new seasonal pokemon. To avoid spam in the forums and double-threads, which we know will happen, let's keep it all in one thread. So keep all your infos in here.

This event adds pokemon to the already set pokemon spawns in that area. It didn't remove pokemon that were there originally. However, last season's pokemon (Winter season) are now gone. Check the old thread to know which pokemon are no longer available.

For those interested the Pokedex count post-patch (so far): 258 (this includes all previous event pokemon, storyline pokemon, starters, and everything that was obtainable since the game went alpha)

Altering Cave Cycles

EDIT: I made a chart to make it easy to understand for everyone that didn't quite get the cycle concept yet. Here it is: http://i.imgur.com/BnHrvqg.jpg

ProfessorElderberry made a java application that has a little clock countdown and a picture that changes according to what cycle we're on. This is very useful, and hopefully will make the ammount of questions regarding cycles lower. Anyway, you can find his application here: https://forums.pokem...rent-cycle-app/
Enjoy, because I sure did.

Spoiler

Smeargle is still in the cave. More pokemon have been added and he is rarer now, but he is still there. He's NOT an event pokemon though, he will stay there for ever. Pokemon in the Altering Cave Cycles MAY change in the future.

Altering Cave pokemon are going through several cycles. The spawns are changing constantly, every 6 hours to be precise, which is a full PokeMMO ingame day (00:00 to 23:59). The cycles include different pokemon every time. However, Zubats will always appear in any cycle, and even have their own cycle (Cycle 4)

Other than Zubats, there are several cycles that will be listed below. These cycles, however, have different pokemon, with different rarity, and different encounter rates. To help us narrow down these values, some forum members are grouping up and getting hundreds of encounters to find just how big (or small) these encounter rates are. You can find their work and help them if you wish to in the following thread: https://forums.pokem...or-new-pokemon/

The AC (Altering Cave) has a total of 7 cycles. Each cycle will last for 6 real world hours or 24 hours in PokeMMO, changing at 00:00 PokeMMO time. The cycles correspond each to one day of the week, making it a full week in PokeMMO time to loop every cycle. That being said, the cycles are listed below, and you'll be able to identify which cycle is running if you take a look at the pokemon you're finding and try to match it with the ones in this thread. There are is no correct calendar for these cycles, since they will always rotate daily. Enjoy this update.

RUMORS

There were quite a few people spreading rumors for the location of several pokemon that were supposed to be in the game. These however, were prooved to be false, since over the course of half a day, no one even saw one. Therefore, there is no need to have a list here for those, since it's pretty much confirmed that these are NOT in the game. This list included Ralts, Corphis, Chinchou, Trapinch, and Sunkern. If you get info that any of these pokemon are in the game, the person is most likely wrong. There is, however, a chance that some of those are in a cycle in the Altering Cave, this happened with Absol. He was said to be in Lost Cave, but turns out he was in one of the cycles for the AC.

This wall of text that lies here, is written by me, but the work here presented is made by the whole community. Therefore, and although I did write all of this and started figuring out how it was working, I do need to thank everyone else that kept posting in this thread since the start, and that helped gather info, posted proof and screenshots, and that stayed up to crack this thing down and do the most they could. I don't think I need to point any names, they know who they are.

Thank you everyone, and thanks for reading.

This is to prevent that entire thread from becoming "OMG WHERE NEW POKEMANS" like it does every single update. There was a thread made like this last update too and it worked well.

Sorry for the double post.

They will vanish but I am guessing more pokemon will be added before that since spring is not in its full affect

Also, keep posting if you find something new, I'll be updating the thread.
