The reset day has been commonly referred to as "the first day", but it is actually the first day that the developers added a catch date therefore any Pokémon from the launch day of MMO to that day will have the same catch date. . The IVs on every Pokémon are random which mean they don't particularly stand out. Carvanha can also no longer be caught in Kanto.
