Unlocking it is the key to releasing the Unown. Spoiler The Tanoby Key is a small cave on the middle western part of the canyon. The puzzle inside consists of several boulders that must be moved using Strength into the room's craters, forming the correct pattern. When completed, this unlocks the Unown in the Tanoby Chambers and allows them to be caught. Push the boulders sequentially, into their respective craters as shown (Push 1 into 1, then 2 into 2 and so on): Duration 1 hour for catching Another 10 minutes for players to submit entries Scoring Total Sum of IVs + Hidden Power Bonus = Total Score Hidden Power Bonus If the Unown's letter is one of the letters in its natural hidden power type, it will receive the hidden power bonus as follows: Fighting +2 Flying +2 Poison +2 Ground +5 Rock +5 Bug +10 Ghost +5 Steel +10 Fire +15 Water +2 Grass +2 Electric +5 Psychic +5 Ice +5 Dragon +2 Dark +10 *Note: Do not attempt to change the hidden power typing via typed gems, I will know if you did. Example Spoiler 103 + 15 = 118 points +15 because this is an F Unown, and the letter F is in the word Fire Pokémon accepted as valid entries All Unown Forms Rules To win 1st-3rd places that are sorted by high to low, you need to submit an entry that scores the highest Bonus prize criteria is to spell out any Pokemon's name on global EN chat using Unowns caught within event time (Criteria announced at the 30 minute mark on global EN chat) You can only submit one entry All Pokémon must be caught within the event time and at the event location All Pokémon must remain unchanged (untrained/unevolved...) Default hidden power typing is granted by the pattern on your IVs. This is just an example, but basically, it is based off odd/even numbers. Something that has IVs of: odd/even/odd/even/odd/even 31 / 30 / 31 / 30 / 31 / 30 Will give hidden power ice But something that is Even/odd/even/odd/even/odd 30 / 31 / 30 / 31 / 30 / 31 Will give hidden power flying This is probably not accurate, i just know how they function, but there are patterns for all types. Odd/odd/even/even/odd/odd will give a different type 30/30/31/31/30/30 will give a different type And so on. Of course this applies to any given number. They do not need to be 30/31 but this is how hidden typing was bred onto comp mons, many moons ago, before we had the luxury of type gems.
