What I want to ask is whether there will be a ceiling

You mean like a series with a finale? That would be a no sadly

My intentions are to continuously make these 32 mans although it all depends on if the players like them.

The idea behind them is that I wanted shorter tournaments because sometimes the more popular 128 mans can be a little time consuming and not everyone has that amount of time to invest into one tournament. So I plan to keep them as 32 man tournaments. Adding the buy-in gives us more lucrative prizes(all the buy-in cash has been added to 1st place) and probably makes the more skilled player willing to take the risk which would then make it more fun to spectate I imagine.

I'll probably ask some comp players after the tournament to see if they want more of this type.
