Smeargle Sets Guides

The intent of this guide is bring custom sets to Smeargle, to most part of utilitys. Because when us need, can make a set for specific situations.

This is a Community Guide, so the sets that will be shown , is sets post on Comment Section and my sets. If want to contribute, read spoiler:

You need to send sets following some restrictions:

1st - For which situation i will use this set? Need to specific it on title set, or leave a set for one role that are already Created. Example: Standart Sets - Sets standart for smeargles.
2nd - Set format:

Need to shown:
Smeargle @ <Item that must be held, leave in blank if no item>
EVs: <EV Training for Smeargle. All EV must be result 510 EVs>
Nature: <A preferable nature for set>
IVs: <Preferable IVs for breeding. the IVs that must be breeded, if the set don't require a precise IV(Maybe Speed or HP to give a Exact value), put 30-31.>
Movepool: the four moves that smeargle will learn. Try to explain your functions and the form of put in on your smeargle(In case of Teleport). Follow this format:
- <Move> <Explanation>
- <Move> <Explanation>
- <Move> <Explanation>
- <Move> <Explanation>

3rd - For specific use set, need to leave explanation of strategy after set blueprint
4th - If set isn't your set, leave credits for him.

Smeargle Sets Area

 

Standart Sets - The sets most used from smeargle. This sets is for most part of cases.

Normal Set - Smeargle's Most common set

Smeargle @ Leftovers
EVs: 252 Atk/252 Speed
Nature: Adamant, 
IVs: 30-31 Atk/30-31 Speed
Moves:
- Sweet Scent - Used to call hordes
- Soak - Change enemy's type to pure Water(No secondary type).
- Spore - Put enemy to asleep. 100% Accuracy
- False Swipe - Cannot kill. Leave opponent with at least 1 HP.

Pay Day Variant - A set of Smeargle, for horde hunting when you have other mon to use Sweet Scent. Can be useful to catch boxes of male egg group of a specific egg Group, like Fairy or Field

Smeargle @ Leftovers
EVs: 252 Atk/252 Speed
Nature: Adamant, 
IVs: 30-31 Atk/30-31 Speed
Moves:
- Pay Day - Given money equal to this formula after battle:   x . 10 = money earned. x is the level of mon that you hit first with pay day. Effect only apply once per battle. 
- Soak - Change enemy's type to pure Water(No secondary type).
- Spore - Put enemy to asleep. 100% Accuracy
- False Swipe - Cannot kill. Leave opponent with at least 1 HP.

Teleport Set - Useful if you have other mon with Sweet Scent, and don't have ocarina Fly.

EVs: 252 Atk/252 Speed
Nature: Adamant, 
IVs: 30-31 Atk/30-31 Speed
Moves:
- Teleport - -6 Priority , switch your active mon with other in party. If had no mon in party that can enter, it will Fail. Outside of Battle, returns you to last pokecenter visited
- Soak - Change enemy's type to pure Water(No secondary type).
- Spore - Put enemy to asleep. 100% Accuracy
- False Swipe - Cannot kill. Leave opponent with at least 1 HP.

Swarms Sets - Sets for Catching Swarms Pokémons. Usually , mons that have Recoil moves. :

Chansey Swarm Set

Chanseys swarms appear with a certain frequency. Usually , chansey have Take Down, so it's hard to catch one without she KO himself.
This Sets ends the problem.

EVs: 252 Atk/252 Speed
Nature: Adamant, 
IVs: 30-31 Atk/30-31 Speed
Moves:
- Shadow Sneak - Ghost-type move. You usually will not use it, but leave in set to it work. Can be replaced by any Ghost-type move. Must be in First moveslot.
- Conversion - Converts you in the same type of the move in First moveslot. In this case, you will be converted on Ghost-type(So, take down will not hit you more.).
- Spore - Put enemy to asleep. 100% Accuracy
- False Swipe - Cannot kill. Leave opponent with at least 1 HP.

Specific-Mons catching - Zone for sets maked especifically to catch a specific mon.

Abra 

Abra is the most annyoning mon that have actually to catch. He have teleport, so if they escape from your pokeball, It will flee.

EVs: 252 Atk/252 Speed
Nature: Adamant, 
IVs: 30-31 Atk/30-31 Speed
Moves:
- Mean Look - Prevent your opponent to flee. Why not Taunt/Imprison to prevent use of Teleport? To don't force abra to Struggle and faints itself. Struggle deals Typeless damage, so don't exist any mon immune to it, and the move cannot miss. When he hit, causes 25% of HP, rounded half up, of recoil damage to user. Better use Mean Look, to Abra use teleport and failing(Making Teleport does the same of Splash: Nothing.) , making him a easy mon to catch
- Block - Same function of Mean Look. Only to have more PP and you don't keep hopeless when mean look runs out of pp.
- Spore - Put enemy to asleep. 100% Accuracy
- False Swipe - Cannot kill. Leave opponent with at least 1 HP.

infinity flinch with Multi-hit moves? Nah, i can use Togekiss to do this, and this area is for PvE sets, not PvP sets(Sets PvP: Hazards Setter(Support), Counter-Attack(offense) and Transform(Offense))
