New player, would like friends and/or a team

Hi ?

 

I played this many years ago back when it was fairly new but didn't play a lot. I've made a new account and would like some peeps to chat and play with, I'm not very experienced but have played Pokemon when I was a kid and also played Sword/Shield. I bought donator status for a month, so I'm in this for the long haul! Although I am a little confused. I'm on noob status going through the story (I started on Hoenn)
