Anyone got good pumpking hard mode strats?

seems like mage and reaper are causing serious problems to the traditional fiery teams
is it impossible to farm 3 particle mons in one try now?

Is every pokemon at level 100 in your team? If it's under level 70, the pumpkins will destroy your party (team).

 

Turns out Pumpreaper is a ghost-dark type. Pumpknight (pumpkin in armor) is a ghost-steel type.

 

A pumpkin prince with blue aura use Heal Pulse, so Heal Block makes up a good counter move.

 

Do not use pokemon who currently holds items, that could feed Pumpking. Meaning, heal HP.

 

I recommend using level 100 pokemon who aren't Psychic type. Pumpreaper learns Night Slash and another one learns Shadow Ball.

as someone who's never played this event before, its really annoying after I spent all my time building my team only to find out I need a completely different team to even try this. Why add fakemons that no new player knows how to play against? Its ridiculous.
