Ability to 'Favorite' a ball type, so it's top of list

Suggesting some kind of favorite system to the balls, so someone can favorite a Repeatball and have it be at the top if the ball list when catching.

I feel like this would help out for events and such where catching is the main goal.

 

This could in turn be added to items as well. where you can favorite a couple so they are at the top of the list when doing npc fights

I second this suggestion, when I hunt dittos I have to transfer every pokeball to a different account so that I only have repeat balls in my inventory to avoid having to scroll down each time I throw a ball.

I think this is something that messes up with a lot of us, specially thinking about missclicking on a Masterball while selecting the Pokeballs that are down in the menu. So anything that can give us more control over our Bag menu is a plus for me.

Yup, there has been several threads already here in suggestions about QoL for the bag, and with the particular issue you're adressing.

 

To be honest, I feel like any QoL suggestion here is not taken into account, as it will always be seen as "subjective" appreciation from a small part of players here in forums. But plenty of stuff that was posted here about GTL or bag that are easy to implement and is OBJECTIVELY better for everyone has been ignored. 

 

Just a small list from what comes to mind and that is recent, pretty sure there's way more :

I know this is not a perfect solution, but you can change the Repeat Ball (or other ball) name in the data/string files to make it appear on top.

Wish we could just hotkey the ball too.
