Any tips for new player?

I have some questions.

1: Should i focus on capturing every pokemon i come across or should i just focus on 6 and then try to rush through the region as fast as i can and go back later to fill out the pokedex?

 

2: What should i focus on first as a new player? 

 

3: What are some must get pokemon that i should focus on finding ASAP and what region are they in?

 

4: Do you have any other great newbie tips and tricks?

1. Finish all regions.

2. Find your ways of getting fun here, be it timed E4 runs, breeds, shiny hunting, chilling, pvp or chat

Your focus as a new player should be to finish all the regions. I would recommend finishing kanto before halloween starts. I mean yea sure the halloween event can be done on all 4 regions but its a lot easier to do in kanto. I would also recommend you join a team to get pple to help you ingame with evo trades and stuffs.

 

Last tip is if any server wide events happen you are going to want to grind the heck out of them. They can be a great way to make money esp for new players. During events can sell items or grind lot from npcs.
