Do they remove inactive accounts?

Hi, I am not new. just wondering if they remove inactive accounts?

 

I had loads of pokémon from when I last played and now my pokedex is empty.

 

What is the reason for this?

you’re probably logging into the wrong account/character.

 

If you had loads of pokemon your account wouldn’t have qualified for a wipe.

 

They have done character wipes in the past for characters that had minimal storyline progress, among other criteria (if you met at least one of the criteria, your account would not be wiped).

They reset the pokedex a while back. If you didn't had the pogeymen in your pc the entries weren't added.
