Designated Spots for Duels and Trades

I thought of this idea today while playing. Each region should have a designated spot where people can meet up, trade, or duel. If I could think of a good spot, I'd say by the first gym, or in the biggest city

What about the other regions? If Vermilion City is suppose to be the main hub point for all that, I've had better luck in other towns

what other regions, only kanto matters

Seems like they already have de-facto spots. If you want that stuff to be restricted to those areas, I'm gonna say "nope" to that. I like that I can see players battling and trading (and even spectate) everywhere I go. Its one of the things that still makes this game feel alive and special.

there are regions other than Kanto?  

real talk, main hub areas similar to runescapes Grand Exchange or Fallout 76s Whitesprings would be dope, but I think the playerbase handles that pretty well.  What'd really be nice is some additions to bring players into the hub areas for more than just afking vermilion waters.
