Hello everyone!

Have you ever wanted to fuse Pokémon together? Sure you have! and this is the guide you should read to learn it.

First we need Sprites.
I take all my Resources from Pokewiki. Its the best Pokemon Wiki I've ever seen. Sadly for you its in german(and no im not from germany).
Even if you dont speak german, just find your pokemon in the list (in all languages) then scroll down on the pokemons specific page to find the sprites.
On top on the Sprites section youll fine "Alle Generationen" if you click that it shows the pokemons sprites of all generations.
heres some other sites:
- Bulbapedia
- Marriland
- Some random Sprites in a huge block so its no fun to use

Now that we have our Sprites lets open Paint. I use the Windows 7 version.
MS Paint is on any Pc and also a free download, just google it. (Not every version of paint has the awesome recolour feature.)

Theres a difference between Copy+Pasting a Sprite and Save+Importing a sprite.
Many sprites have a outlinining that is pure black. If you Copy+Paste i sprite from the weppage youll have a background that is also 'pure black'.
Save+Import has 'pure white' backgrounds.

Next we have to understand the differned layers of our Sprite. Layers are important for the dept of the picture.
Example:
- Dragonites wings are on its back, that means its behind his torso.
- Dragonites left arm (right from your perspective) is in front of his torso.

Now i show you how to cut things out. This can be enlarged.

When your painting is done, change its size to 300% (thats a good size for the forums).
Sometimes it can get blurry. To prevent this you must select your painting (like when you move it. Best way is 'Select All') then resize it.
If you resized your painting but you forgot something you can simply change the size back. (if you resited 300% you cant got for 33,3% you have to take on third of the pixels)
Its easiest to draw if one pixel is one pixel and not 3x3 pixels after all.

Save your paintig as a .png that way your pixels wont change like with a .jpg.

If you have understood all this, you have become a master of MS Paint!
And by the way, this guide was made with MS Paint.

Alright I'm starting REALLY small, so I changed the color of Charizards flame. Tips for improvements on it?

Since the guide is not finishied by now. My tip is the whole how i recolour(added soon). Also im not sure what you did with your background.
Also what youll find later in the guide: 'save as .png' that format will keep your pixels as they are. Thats it. you picked colours that fit well for a flame so theres not much to say.

Are you sure you have a decent sprite...  .jpg don't work... if you can fill a whole area with a colourbucket it should also work with the eraser.

.jpgs change the pixels slightly which makes it impossible to recolour. Also pick your colour with the tool next to the eraser (in case you eyeballed the colour instead).
If it still doesnt work it might be the version of your paint... i dunno if it works on older versions...

There's my first try xD

I didn't try colouring it because I'm terrible at it

. _ .

png wil work.

recolouring is easy: just select the existing colour then go to you colourchart and move only left/right that way you keep the same saturation and brightness. if you do that with all the existing colours you got your basic recolouring...
