sherteminys
I have like 200 dittos to breed and I want to get a shiny charm to increase the probability of getting a shiny. But how many dittos should i catch to have time to breed in an hour? Thank you Link to comment
Seth
Hello. I have not tried this myself, but teammates have told me you can breed 180-220 eggs during a shiny charm if you use the daycare in Unova region (shortest distance between computer and daycare breeder). Good luck. ^^ sherteminys 1 Link to comment

sherteminys
I have tested it, and I can confirm that if you're fast with the mouse and keyboard you can breed around 220 eggs in an hour. Riesz 1 Link to comment
Riesz
How long would it take to hatch all? With flame body 5 min per round? Link to comment

hannahtaylor
If you're trying to maximise the shiny charm, breed the eggs and put them in your PC to hatch at a later time. The game decides if it's a shiny or not when you get the egg sherteminys 1 Link to comment

pikabuuh
man, it took me a few tries to go 200+ - lag and distractions being your worst enemies. Eggstremely eggshausting and eggspensive method - but seems to be the best way to charm Spoiler sherteminys 1 Link to comment

ThinkNicer
So if you have donator active and a shiny charm the shiny rate is 1 / 24300. If you can do 200 eggs per hour it will oooonly take 121 hours to get to 24.3k eggs. 24k eggs also costs you 72m in dittos, (400 boxes). If your shiny is worth like 100m, you made maybe 10m in 121 hours, considering chosing genders, dittos and shiny charms. So on average if you spend all those hours on gymruns you will get the shiny you want much faster. Just won't be your OT. Yeahhhh. I'll stick to afking in Vermilion Riesz and CaptnBaklava 2 Link to comment

SirDusty
You could theoretically make 6 boxes in an hour. My personal best time for a box is 9:34, and I think I only had 1 gender mistake during that, so nearly perfect. However, I’m not going to test this because I don’t want to catch 4 more mudkip boxes. and breeding eggs for an hour straight would be hell sherteminys 1 Link to comment
CaptnBaklava
I was so close to start wasting all my money on an egghunt. Now ill reconsider that Link to comment
Mint2B
You can try Ctrl+left click to move the pokemon from PC to your team and from your team to the breeder. Link to comment

Now ill reconsider that The numbers are actually far worse cause I forgot to factor in hatching time lol. So just to throw that in, if eggs hatch in like 4 minutes and you do batches of 5, it's an extra 324 hours.... ... .. ....... WAIT WHAT. Ok wait. Soo. I got 24300 eggs ok, ok. I do it in batches of 5 so 24300 / 5 is 4860 batches. Ok so every batch takes 4 minutes maybe, so 4860 x 4 is 19440 minutes. Uhm then to conver that to hours I divide by 60 so 19440 / 60 aaaand..... yep 324 hpurs CaptnBaklava and PinkWings 2 Link to comment
NewCPlayer
One hour is enough. But it's a bit tiring to repeat the operation continuously. Hope you can get a shiny. Have a shiny day! :3 Seth and sherteminys 1 1 Link to comment
