Mega evolutions

It would be much better to play with the mega evolution of the Pokémon, I'm sure I'm not the only one who wants to. Can you please add them?

Short, reasonable, quick, and perfectly fine answer: no

 

PokeMMO uses roms to get content from the actual games onto the client, basically just like an emulator with a bunch of mmo and various features. The devs could add mega evolutions technically, but they would have to integrate the roms from the generation 6 pokemon games (XY). Johto isn't even out yet, they're busy with the dungeons update, the devs also have to deal with their own personal lives/the covid-19 pandemic/possibly their careers or school. This is just a fan project, so you'll have to check back in 2-12 years to see if mega evolutions are added.

Okay, here's a list why We don't want Mega evolutions now:

1) They Buff certain pokemon, not everything

2)Speaking of Buff, Some pokemon become overpowered, like Kangaskhan or Lucario or Mawile

3)Most of the megas are technically in the UBER tier and in pokeMMO, the Uber tier doen't exists

 

 

So my point is that Mega evolutions shouldn't exist until the release of the hidden abilities, the dungeons (for the non-Uber legenderies/mythicals) and possibly, if anything goes well, gen 6.
