The captain rule is pretty eh, and just ripe for promoting coaching. Basically if you have a captain that doesn't main OU, they will be coached by someone else anyway. So what's the point exactly? Or why does the captain have to be proficient in OU?

Your tournament tho.

If u read the rules, why ur captain wouldnt play ou lol

Your opinion tho.

Reminder that the deadline to sign up is here -> Time Zone Converter (2 hours before the start time), so you all have a little under 12 days to post your best team! We'll be actively adding to the bracket as we get entries

Also just a heads up, if we get a good turnout (kinda expected), this will most likely be a 2 day event, with the captains of either the quarterfinalists or semifinalists agreeing on a day + time to meet back up.

What's the meaning of 'captain' if you are basing it on who is the best OU player of your team, not who is the best overall leader.

The captain must be someone who have knowledge of all tiers so then He can make the subs too and can help their team mates.

I don't see why a captain can't play Ou and I don't see why a player can't help (coach) other player in this kind of tournaments. Is a "fast tournament" Trying to avoid coaching in this kind of events is kinda impossible.

Don’t name a captain who can’t play ou lol?

If your best overall leader has no knowledge in the most spammed and promoted tier in the game, then idk, you can think of it is an OU1. After all, ou is your psl’s required tier in a tiebreak

Where is it hosted so I can go do that region

Looking into bigger areas that can hold teams of 10 facing each other. Hoenn‘s battle frontier and mistraltons airport (Unova) come to mind. Will update when it’s finalized

Edit: finalized, y not both lo
