0 XelaKebert
Honestly, I like this idea a lot. Instead of having a channel based chat, just do a regional chat instead. This would allow for coordination of region based events, such as Halloween, among all channels without creating chaos in the global channel. Riesz 1 Link to comment
0 noomuch
replacing channel chat with regional chat would make it better for events and such Link to comment
0 Rittz
This is a great idea. Not only because of that, but also because channel chats are usually quite dead. TheFrenchiestFry 1 Link to comment
0 TheFrenchiestFry
Also because vague questions like "where do I get the bike/exp share/breeder/etc.?" and "help I can't find the third gym?" that get asked often would be much easier to deal with. Normal chat is for your immediate area while shout chat is for immediate+surrounding area. So like the entirety of Viridian forest during a catch event for example, or any city or big location during official/player-hosted events. Pretty useful. Plus people asking for money/pokemon in Vermillion use it lots pog Link to comment

Channel chat itself is great in theory, essentially a global chat for your channel, but a region based chat that functions like global would be great. Have the region based chat be the default for all players logging in unless they set it otherwise and have no badge requirement on it so new players can ask questions relative to their respective regions and get answers easier.
