Prankster and Inner focus

Why the ability prankster has no effect in this generation against the dark types if that happens until the seventh generation, also Inner focus with intimidation if that happens until the eighth generation?

Think of this game as Gen5 pokemons with Gen8 mechanics (barring some stuff like no steel nerf, no fairies, no buffed outrage, etc). 

Abilities for one are all completely updated to how they work in Gen8.
