Advice about banning Garchomp

I think it's no need to ban Garchomp. No doubt that Garchomp is so powerful, but i think just ban its SwordsDance or ban its dragon-fire type moves combo will solve this problem, or, even can weaken Garchomp's atk ability. Banning a Pokemon seems too ruthless and radical   : (
