Looking to Get into Competitive

Im looking to get into the competitive scene in Pokemmo. I never played competitive but I watched some videos about general strats and the foundation of battles. I'm almost done with two regions and I believe I have enough money to at least breed a couple comp mons. I wanted to know where I could find a guide to building your first team, with regards to the pokemmo meta. Also, I wanted to know if you generally focus on battling in only one tier or . If so, I'm currently looking to start in UU, if anyone has good resources for that tier. Any help is much appreciated!

For UU I'd recommend to check out the UU viability guide to get an idea what are the strongest Pokemon in the tier and you can choose to either use them or come up with your own creative counters to them to get a good team. To make sure your movesets and EV spreads make sense, Comp. Assistance is a good place.
