About This Guide
This guide is for anyone to learn about as many ways to breed, farm, and train for in game money as possible, any way to make money goes, even the lesser known ones.

Smeargle is one of the most iconic Farmermons out there, from easily catching Pokemon, to Paydaying the day away, this guide will explain what setup you should use on Smeargle and what you need to start up farming.
Setup

Spoiler

Cost
* AVG 100,000¥

You will need to breed an Adamant Nature Smeargle with 2x31 IVs in ATK and SPEED, and train it to LVL100 with 252 EVS in ATK and SPEED
The Smeargle should have False Swipe, Assist, and Soak. The fourth move is based on what you want this Smeargle to do when it is not catching Pokemon. If you want to Payday farm without a Meowth, use Payday, if you want to hunt hordes, use sweet scent, and if you want to complete catch, use glare.

But Smeargle isn't your only Pokemon you need, you also need Parasect or Paras as your second Pokemon, those are cheap common Pokemon, but you need them to have Spore and no other moves, otherwise Assist on Smeargle will be useless, you can go to a Move Releaner/Deleter and pay 5,000¥ per move deleted. Now Smeargles Assist will always use Spore on Paras/Parasect as long as they are the only Pokemon in your party.

Trainin' Tips
* Nidorino can be farmed with Sweet Scent at Route 15 in Kanto for ATK EVS
* Rapidash can be farmed with Sweet Scent at Route 12 in Unova for SPEED EVS
* Teddiursa is a FANTASTIC EV Trainer, check Teddiursa guide for more details

Ditto & Rotom Method

Spoiler

Prerequisites
* Smeargle from Setup
* Paras/Parasect with Spore as its only move
* Only Smeargle and Paras/Parasect in Party

The first method is the most useful of the two Smeargle farming methods, you will be using Smeargle to catch the most useful Pokemon to hunt, Rotom and Ditto, these sell for 10,000¥+ on the GTL, meaning on average you will make a net profit of 5000¥ or more assuming you do the method right and catch a Ditto or Rotom with one perfect IV.

ditto.png.b9fdc3d29b57640c097216f9e5750d59.pngFallabor Town - Desert Underpassditto.png.b9fdc3d29b57640c097216f9e5750d59.png
To get to the Ditto farming area, you first need to beat the Hoenn Elite Four, doing this will unlock a cave in the Fossil Maniacs House, and in this cave, there is a 50% chance to find a Ditto.
Once you find a Ditto, use False Swipe, then, you need to use Assist so that it will use Spore from Paras/Parasect since Assist uses a random move from a Pokemon in Party, and if Paras/Parasect are the only Pokemon in Party and only have Spore then Spore will be used by Smeargle, now you are free to throw your balls as much as you want until that Ditto is caught! If it has a perfect stat or more, success! You can sell it for 9-15k on the GTL depending on what a Ditto similar to yours sells for, and if not, don't worry, just try again.
rotom.png.873dacb88b5dee70aebbf0e0f304cc6e.pngEterna Forest - Old Chateaurotom.png.873dacb88b5dee70aebbf0e0f304cc6e.png
This method is exactly the same as the Ditto method, except in Old Chateau, and you need to use Soak on Rotom before you attack it.

Trainin' Tips
* Ultra Balls are great, but Repeat Balls will catch the Pokemon easier if you already caught one once!

Breloom is a runner up to Smeargle, it naturally has Spore and heals when Poisoned, meaning you only need Breloom to farm, but the downside is- it can't soak Rotom, therefore it can only hunt things like Ditto.

Meowth! That's Right! Meowth is easily the best Payday Farmer, with it being his Signature Move, and him having the Pickup Ability, it makes him easily the most Profitable compared to the Smeargle alternative to Payday Farming.

Setup

Spoiler

Cost
* AVG 80,000¥

You will need to breed an Adamant Nature Meowth with 2x31 IVs in ATK and SPEED, and train it to LVL100 with 252 EVS in ATK and SPEED
The Meowth needs Payday of course, and the other three moves are up for preference since this Meowth should only be using Payday in battles.
Note, DO NOT evolve Meowth, if you do it will lose its Pickup Ability, which is what differentiates it from the other Pokemon.

Payday Method

Spoiler

Prerequisites
* Meowth from Setup

This method is one of the best ways to make Payday money in the game, the Meowth one-shots like the other Pokemon do, but it has one advantage, one ace in the hole, and that is Pickup.
After the Smeargle Meowth wipes out, Meowth has a chance to pick up an item, that item can range from a mere potion to something fantastic like a Silk Scarf, Energy Root, and Ultra Ball.

smeargle.png.3c641714a1fa507c47f18095e4cd486b.pngBattle Frontier - Artisan Cavesmeargle.png.3c641714a1fa507c47f18095e4cd486b.png
This method is pretty straightforward, once you beat Hoenn you unlock the Battle Frontier, and if you go the bottom right of the Battle Frontier there is a region of water blocked by a Sudowoodo, get the Wailmer Pail from the Lady in the Flower Shop below Rustboro City to wake it up, then go down the waterfall into the cave. This cave only houses Smeargle, so you just need to spam Payday to one-shot them and instantly get about 500¥ per Smeargle.

Trainin' Tips
* It is recommended to use a PP Max on Payday so that you will minimize the number of trips you need to take from Artisan Cave to the Pokemon Center, which means less time wasted, which means more money

Smeargle may not have Pickup, but it still can Sketch Payday, so if you have a Smeargle with an extra spot, you can just use Smeargle with Payday to save you the cost of making a Meowth.

Teddiursa is straight up the best EV Trainer in the game, with its wide variety of AoE moves, to its Pickup Ability obtaining random items when you beat Pokemon you farm, this guide will explain what setup Teddiursa needs to work, and what areas he should farm at.
Setup

Spoiler

Cost
* AVG 250,000¥

You will need to breed a Rash Nature Teddiursa with 2x31 IVs in ATK and SPEED, and train it to LVL75 or so with 252 EVS in ATK and SPEED.
The reason why Teddiursa should be about LVL75 is that it can out speed most Rapidash and Tentacruel, which means Teddiursa can stop using EXP share and beat them itself for double EXP.
Teddiursa benefits the most from having Sweet Scent, Faint Attack, Earthquake, and Hyper Voice.

To teach Earthquake, you must have the TM Earthquake, assuming you have one from Story this will save you about 30,000¥, Hyper Voice must be move tutored by the Unova Move Tutor (They are the Blue Fellows at the Pokemon Centers) for two Metronomes and some Shards. Sweet Scent is learned at LVL 22, so you will be fine with that.

Now, here is the most expensive part. You will need a Choice Specs for Teddiursa to work, the reason is- Hyper Voice won't deal enough damage to KO an entire horde at once usually, but with Choice Specs it will make it so you should at level 100 KO every Pokemon in your way.

Note, DO NOT evolve Teddiursa into Ursaring! It loses it's Pickup Ability, which makes it lose its edge against other Pokemon.

Trainin' Tips
* Nidorino can be farmed with Sweet Scent at Route 15 in Kanto for ATK EVS
* Rapidash can be farmed with Sweet Scent at Route 12 in Unova for SPEED EVS
* Assuming you beat a region by this point, you should have a high-level Pokemon with an AoE move like Surf and Earthquake, use them along with an EXP Share to Train Teddiursa

EV & EXP Training

Spoiler

Prerequisites
* Teddiursa from Setup

So, now you have a Teddiursa and want to give it a go training your Pokemon, but don't know what locations to go, well- no worries, this guide has a list of the best EV and EXP spots for Pokemon, you will need to use Sweet Scent for this. Teddiursa also has Pickup, meaning you will randomly when you wipe out Pokemon receive random items depending on where you are in each region, so free money for leveling Pokemon up!

Gothita is the best general Thiefer in the game, with the ability Frisk it can sense whether or not a Pokemon has an item, so no wasted time using Thief only for the Pokemon to not have what you want! And plus, it has one of the lowest ATK stats out of all the Thiefers, making it even better at farming!
Setup

Spoiler

Cost
* AVG 100,000¥

You will need a Gothita with 1x0 in ATK, and 1x31 in SPEED, along with it having the Timid Nature. Thief Pokemon are different from the rest, because they need to be specific levels, because if thief KOs the opponent you can't get the item. You want 252 SPEED and HP IVs on this Thiefer, and the level you want to be depends on what Pokemon you farm, which will be covered in Stealing Items. You want at least Thief on Gothita, and depending on how high you level it and if you evolve it for a specific method you can use Covet, Taunt, and Rest for Optimal Farming.

Trainin' Tips
* If you are Rich Enough, you can get an Amnesia Brace for 1,000RP (10USD) or 2000000¥ which prevents your Gothita from leveling up any further, which saves you the headache of possibly leveling too high, it generally is not worth it though to use an Amnesia Brace to do this.

Stealing Items

Spoiler

Prerequisites
* Gothita from Setup

Gothita can be used for generally any type of Thiefing, this guide has a general list of the best places to farm, and how to farm in those areas.
geodude.png.e638f028931e16fd3e5661f0b00f52fc.png(LVL40) Maniac Tunnel - Sinnoh (LVL40)geodude.png.e638f028931e16fd3e5661f0b00f52fc.png
For this method, you will need access to Maniac Tunnel in Sinnoh, you just need to run around the cave until you find a Geodude, which is fairly easy due to they have a 90%-95% encounter rate. All you need to do each Geodude is use thief once, if you made the Gothita correctly it should not one shot it, which means Thief will steal its item it has one. Unfortunately for Gothita, it is not immune to Explosion, but it shouldn't take much damage from it, so you should be fine since you will only be stealing from the Geodudes with an item, which means less chances to be blown to bits.
luvdisc.png.201466b992143c304a1d894fec26d56e.png(LVL40) Ever Grande City - Hoenn (LVL40) luvdisc.png.201466b992143c304a1d894fec26d56e.png
In this method, you just need to go to Ever Grande City in Hoenn, you will need a Fishing Rod to do this. Just start fishing, and eventually you will run into a Luvdisc, Luvdisc may carry Heart Scales which you can use Thief on for about 5000¥ profit on GTL.
relicanth-f.png.07317f0bd16558058f0138646268dafb.png(LVL40) Sootopolis Underwater - Hoenn (LVL40)
If you want to do this method, you just need to go to Sootopolis, and south of it will be a dive spot, over there you can steal from Relicanth for Green Shards, Chinchou for Yellow Shards, and Clamperls for Blue Shards. It is recommended that you skip Clamperls due to Blue Shards are worth the least.
spiritomb.png.881bf85ea442b493c164a537f8142468.png(LVL100) Turnback Cave - Sinnoh (LVL100) spiritomb.png.881bf85ea442b493c164a537f8142468.png
On this method, your Gothita will need to be leveled to 100, and be turned into a Gothitelle with Covet, Thief, Taunt, and Rest. You will go to Turnback Cave in the Sinnoh Region, you won't be running around, instead, you will be using Rock Smash for random Pokemon to come out, the reason for this is you can get Everstones AND Fossils, which are both very valuable items. Sometimes you may run into a Spiritomb, in which case use Taunt first so that it can't affect you with a status condition, and Thief it assuming it has an item for some very nice rewards. Aside from Spiritomb, generally do the same thing you did at Maniac Tunnel except with Rock Smash.

Trainin' Tips
* A Nice item to have if you don't want to bring a Rock Smash Pokemon over is have a Rock Smash Ocarina, which allows you to use Rock Smash without a Pokemon that has it (as long as you own the HM Rock Smash of course) which saves you a Party slot. These are about 2USD = 200RP = 400,000¥ so unless you really want to you should just bring a Pokemon with Rock Smash.

Shuppet is the runner up to Gothita, they are incredibly similar, except that Gothita has a lower ATK stat than Shuppet, therefore making it superior because you don't want to take the chance of leveling up by KO'ing a wild Pokemon with Thief.

Quagsire is the go-to Thiefmon when you need to get Everstones, from his low ATK stat, to his Damp Ability preventing him from being KO'ed by Geodude Explosions. This guide will explain what stats Quagsire needs to make this work, along with levels and locations of Geodude.
Setup

Spoiler

Cost
* AVG 100,000¥

You will need a Quagsire with 1x0 in ATK, and 1x31 in SPEED, along with it having the Timid Nature. Quagsire and Thief Pokemon are different from the rest, because they need to be specific levels, because if thief KOs the opponent you can't get the item. The level you need for this Pokemon is greatly dependent on what type of farm you are doing. You must have Damp Ability for this method to work, if you get Water Absorb, you can't do the Geodude method but you can farm Heart Scales and Shards. The recommended attacks are Thief, Recover (Egg Move from breeding with something like a Corsola), then Water HMs like Surf and Waterfall for easy Maneuvering around Sinnoh.

Trainin' Tips
* If you are Rich Enough, you can get an Amnesia Brace for 1,000RP (10USD) or 2000000¥ which prevents your Quagsire from leveling up any further, which saves you the headache of possibly leveling too high, it generally is not worth it though to use an Amnesia Brace to do this.

Stone Stealing

Spoiler

Prerequisites
* Quagsire from Setup

Everstones and Hard Stones are held by Geodude, with an about 15% hold rate. Quagsire with Damp Ability will make it so Geodude Explosions won't do anything to it, meaning more farming for you!

geodude.png.e638f028931e16fd3e5661f0b00f52fc.png(LVL40) Maniac Tunnel - Sinnoh (LVL40)geodude.png.e638f028931e16fd3e5661f0b00f52fc.png
For this method, you will need access to Maniac Tunnel in Sinnoh, you just need to run around the cave until you find a Geodude, which is fairly easy due to they have a 90%-95% encounter rate. All you need to do each Geodude is use thief once, if you made the Quagsire correctly it should not one shot it, which means Thief will steal its item it has one, if a Geodude Explosion happens, don't worry, the Damp Ability prevents you from being fatally harmed from it, which means more farming time for Everstones and Hard Stones! And if you take too much damage from Geodude, you can always use Recover which means less trips to the Center too!

luvdisc.png.201466b992143c304a1d894fec26d56e.png(LVL40) Ever Grande City - Hoenn (LVL40)luvdisc.png.201466b992143c304a1d894fec26d56e.png

It is recommended that you skip Clamperls due to Blue Shards are worth the least.

Trainin' Tips
* Recover isn't needed to do this farm, but breeding it onto Quagsire can save you loads of time taking trips from the farm to the center.
* If you just want to do the Heart Scale and Shard Method, you can benefit even more by using Water Absorb, making it practically invulnerable to the Pokemon it is farming.

Gothita isn't directly made for Stone Stealing, but it works just as fine as a Quagsire, the only main difference is it takes damage from Explosion whereas Quagsire does not.

Prerequisites
* A Trainermon, like Teddiursa, check Teddiursa guide for more details.

Training Services cost little to no money once you are set up, and can only make profit from there. People will give you ¥ to train their Pokemon to level fifty, and put EVs on them. You can generally make 45000¥ per Pokemon Trained, but you should always keep your prices competitive to make people commission you more than anyone else. Plus, if you have Pickup on your Trainermon, you can gain some extra extra from the items it may pick up. The best tips for making a successful EV Training Farm is to be active on the game, train fast, make a well-formatted post on the forums, and have a competitive price if you want to get attention and become the go-to trainer of the MMO.

For a more detailed explanation on Training Services, check out this video by The Mayor of PokeMMO, Bestfriends.

Trainin' Tips
* The best way to train is via horde, for more info on locations, check Simple EV Training & Leveling Guide Using Horde

Spoiler

Prerequisites
* Real-Life Money, or 2000000¥

Essentially, the Rewards Point Economy is based around the Gift Shop feature in the game, in there you can exchange Real Money for Rewards Points (RP) and players will trade you ¥ for Rewards Points. The general consensus in the game is 1USD = 100RP Voucher = 200,000¥ but sometimes the economy changes and it is worth more than that amount, always check the GTL for RP values, the best way to make a profit off RP is to get multiples of 1,000RP, which sell for about 2000000¥, but sometimes it can go up to 2100000¥ which is where the real profit is at. If you don't have RP or Real-Life Money, you can always save up about 2000000¥ and buy from people for about 1850000¥ making you about 150,000¥ each time, but otherwise you can just sell your RP for whatever the Market Value is if you are buying it.

There are other ways of making RP too without ¥ or Real-Life Money, and these are Events, Staff Members and Community Managers of PokeMMO have contests and competitions every few days to keep the players active in PokeMMO, and the majority of them giving out 250 to 1,000RP to the winners along with non trade-able Shinies.
So if you don't have either RP or ¥ you should check out the events announcement forum here

Trainin' Tips
* Be Patient! If you make a hasty choice with RP you could lose hundreds of thousands of ¥ so it is recommended to think it through and don't choose the lesser amount of ¥ to get a faster sale.

Spoiler

Prerequisites
* AVG 100,000¥

GTL Flipping is Risky Business, essentially, you are going into the GTL, buying things for cheaper than they should be, then waiting and reselling them for a small profit. It is fast and easy to do, but the profits are typically minimal and you can end up losing on your choices, and receiving the profit may take a while.

So, since that can't be guided on, instead, minimizing the risk you take on the GTL. A recommended method is to find Pokemon in your preferred egg group on the GTL with 4x25 or 5x25 IVs for a low amount like 3,000¥ you can buy them, and resell on the GTL for about 30,000¥, it's not an instant sell however for you, but eventually it will sell, so you won't be losing out. GTL Flipping is risky, but with proper knowledge of the economy you can make a huge profit off of it in the long-run.

Trainin' Tips
* Male Breeders are the best to buy, because they can be bred with any female to produce the females baby, but if it was a female Whismur for example, it would only be able to have a baby Whismur, and who needs Whismur!? So having a Male drastically increases the value on GTL.
