Eatmysandattack
Hey guys! I'm brand new to competitive battling and am trying to put my first team together for OU tier. I already bred a Scizor and a Jolteon and I'm trying to figure out what my other four Pokemon should be. Here's what I'm thinking so far: Scizor Nature: Adamant EVs: 252 Attack 252 HP / 252 Attack 252 Speed Item: Choice Band Ability: Technician Bullet Punch U-Turn Superpower Pursuit Jolteon Nature: Timid EVs: 252 Speed 252 Sp. Atk Item: Life Orb Volt Switch Hidden Power Ice Thunderbolt Toxic Blissey Nature: Bold EVs: 252 Hp 252 Defense Item: Leftovers Ability: Natural Cure Wish Seismic Toss Protect Flamethrower Skarmory Nature: Impish EVs: 252 HP 252 Defense Item: Shed Shell Ability: Sturdy Defog Roost Drill Peck Stealth Rock Gengar Nature: Timid EVs: 252 Speed 252 Sp. Atk Item: Life Orb Shadow Ball Sludge Bomb Focus Blast Hidden Power Fire Gyarados Nature: Adamant EVs: 252 Speed 252 Attack Item: Leftovers / Life Orb Dragon Dance Waterfall Taunt Bounce / Crunch Any advice or suggestions would be very much appreciated! Thank you in advance! Link to comment
Kupokun
Personally the only difference i would have is: Jolteon hold specs. Shadow ball> toxic. Brave bird> drill peck and Substitute > sludge bomb. best of luck, Have fun ^^ Link to comment
EricRasp
Doesn't Pursuit Scizor have scarf instead of band? Link to comment
DaftCoolio
could be worth trying a bulky heavy hitter instead of gengar, something like conkeldurr or reuniclus. jolteon and gengar fill a similar role in that they are both special sweepers. i also like lefties on gyara instead of life orb, typing and intimidate give it good chances to switch in and i feel life orb kind of takes away that longevity both of these give a few more defensive options as well instead of having to switch to skarm or blissey predominately Link to comment

Eatmysandattack
Thank you for the suggestions guys! Sounds like I'll be making a few moveset changes and will give Gyarados leftovers. @Kupokun would you mind clarifying what you meant by "Jolteon hold specs"? And @DaftCoolio would Tyranitar be considered a bulky heavy hitter to use instead of Gengar if I had this setup? Tyranitar Nature: Adamant EVs: 252 Attack 252 HP Item: Choice Band Stone Edge Crunch Pursuit Superpower Link to comment
Kupokun
@Eatmysandattack By that i mean have Jolteon hold Choice Specs. it's the usual set. ^^ Link to comment

Its better wise glasses/xpert belt/letftovers. if you use choise spects is easy to stop it and also you could lose the voltswitch adventage. -Another advise, dont ev train 252 PS pokemons that are not trickroom users. You should study the speed on that tier and invest evs to surpass checks and counters if you could. Edited July 14, 2020 by soyhector gbwead and Kupokun 2 Link to comment
