Samzaaa
I seem to recall in the original games there was a trick you could perform in the Safari Zone as to not use your remaining steps by simply turning on the spot rather than walking/running around in the grass. This would still generate wild encounters and you could stay there until you'd ran out of balls. I'm about to start Chansey hunting and I can see the $500 adding up. Anyone know if this trick/workaround is still present in PokeMMO or have they worked it out? Link to comment
Bearminator
No, it doesn't. You need to walk around to get encounters. One "trick" you might want to use, is to use sweet scent in safari, which gives you 6 encounters if PP maxed. FinnTheMember and kuplion 2 Link to comment

I have my PP maxed Sweet Scene Smeagle so I'll take that with me. Link to comment
kuplion
Also, lead with an Illuminate Pokemon to increase the encounter rate whilst you're in the Safari Zone. Revz, Seth, ClydeTheOG and 1 other 4 Link to comment

If you are stacked on Leppa berries, you get so many more encounters with this "trick" as it only takes 5 safari steps per Sweet Scent. Good luck! o/ Link to comment
