Poufilou
The team ZomB welcomes you to its Fishing Derby, a catching contest... quite different than others. You will compete for the HEAVIEST pile of fish (pokemons) ! Catch the most biggies big bois ! However... a true fisherman never fishes empty handed. Be sure to catch enough bait (pokemons) for them ! As you may already know... each kind of fish is attracted to different baits... So fill up your bait boxes wisely, as they can only hold a limited number of baits ! If you master your skills in fishing with one category of bait, you'll get a medal, awarding you extra points ! (read rules please) Test your fishing skills... use your knowledge... prepare your strategy... and get those lucky catches ! Scoring Total sum of lbs + medal bonus points = Total Score Date & Time (soon to be announced) Sunday 5/24 7 PM UTC Time Zone Converter Duration 1 hour 10 minutes Another 20 minutes for players to submit entries Requires : All regions unlocked All rods unlocked Event Rules : In the 30 first minutes, you can ONLY catch bait (all fish entries with time caught in the first 30 minutes will not be accepted as a valid entry) At the 30 minutes mark, you can start catching fish. At the 40 minutes mark, you CANNOT catch bait anymore (all bait entries with time caught after 40 minutes will not be accepted as valid entries) Each fish (pokemon) entries rewards you with points related to their weight (fixed value from Dex info ; 1lbs = 1 point) To enter a fish in the derby you need to catch the bait it is associated to, and link both of them to a Staff EVERY bait is consumed after link. One bait = One entry. You need another bait to enter another fish. If your fish entry has any 31s, its lbs is multiplicated. 1x31 = x1.5 // 2x31 = x2 // 3x31 = x3 // 4x31 = x4 BAIT BOXES : You have a limited number of bait per bait species (see below). You can only enter ONE FISH PER SPECIES of fish. (except for Sharpedo and Wailmer that you can enter twice) MEDALS : Extra points given if you catch the maximum of fishes in one bait category (for example, catching 5 different fishes associated with Wurmple bait). Pokemon accepted as valid entries : General Rules : You must link your entry to a Staff to submit it You can submit multiple entries as long as they respect the rules (bait + fish) All pokemon fish entries must be caught by FISHING (no Surfing locations allowed) All pokemon must be caught within the event time in ANY (fishing) location All pokemon must remain unchanged (untrained/unevolved...) Evolved or unevolved forms of the listed Pokémon will not be accepted as a valid entry You must be the OT of the Pokémon (both bait and fish) In the event of a tie, the winner will be determined by who has the most medals (then who has the heaviest single pokemon, then who caught it earlier) Hosts : Poufilou Kole Takaimei 1st Place Prize 5M 2nd Place Prize 2M 3rd Place Prize 800k 4th-8th Place Prize 400k Sheet here for leaderboard : https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1_p2JojJQjPHqIGQ2rR79UJl2vjR8iGqNli4G-TWNWvk/edit?usp=sharing Answered questions for little details : Q - Do the Wailmer and Sharpedo medals stack up ? A - If you enter 2 Sharpedo or Wailmers, you will get the points of the 2 medals, but they will only count as 1 medal for the Wailord requiries. Q - Can I use Magikarps and Carvanhas both as bait and fish entry ? A - No. Any bait will be considered consumed, meaning that you have to choose using one pokemon either as bait or as fish entry (having the correct associated bait). Q - Where do I catch Magikarps lvl 70+ ? A - Check your pokedex, duh ! (Resort Area, Sinnoh, Super Rod) Edited May 24, 2020 by Poufilou Revz, PokemonTrainerJD and Seth 3 Link to comment

One hour before the catching event starts, staff will be at Vermilion City on channel 2 to answer all your questions ! It is recommended to be on channel 2 for this event as we will announce the time marks on channel chat (aswell as Global chat, though it will be crowded with other things, so better activate channel chat). UGUDLIGHT
So, if i were to catch weedle baits (4) and then caterpie baits (3) and I luck out in filling all fishes... Do the multiple entries stack or not? Nvm, considering wailord requirement, it seems like it does. Just correct me if wrong. Edited May 24, 2020 by UGUDLIGHT Link to comment
Poufilou
Yes, all points from each entry will stack and you will get additional points from medals. So if you have four weedles, and you caught Corphish + Chinchou + Poliwag + Goldeen, you will get 25 + 26 + 27 + 33 + 150 points. UGUDLIGHT 1 Link to comment
