Cherrim's second form in Dex

How can I register the alternative form of cherrim in the pokédex?

I'm having the same problem. For other pokemon (rotom for example) I was able to circumvent this bug by selling the pokemon and then cancelling the order. But for cherrim it doesn't work (I suspect it goes back to its original form immediately after battle / doesn't save its form changes after battle).
Is there any way to get the pokedex entry? Did you find a solution?

You can't. Cherrim's alt form cannot be in the pokedex. The same thing goes with Rotom's forms too

You can trade Rotom with somone else to register them in the pokédex, Cherrim gets back to normal form after battle so you can't register.

I'm sure this applies to Castform's Alternate forms as well.
