ItIsJ
Old PokeMMO needed to update to Platinum, so I deleted my current PokeMMO and it directed me to download page. Downloaded DMG file. Opened it. Put PokeMMO in Applications. Tried to open it, but it blinked for a bit and then stopped. At one point it said it was open, but it had no black dot under it in the menu bar, and when I tried to force quit it it would not even force quit. I don't even know what the issue is, it's just not opening. Please help. Thanks! TohnR 1 Link to comment
Gradyjohns
Same - except install worked, loaded the ROMs, "app needs to restart" closes and won't open again. Shows up in the dock for a split second. Uninstalled and reinstalled to the same effect. Edited January 22, 2020 by Gradyjohns Link to comment
peterLF
Check out this post. Instead of downloading dmg file on Mac, you may download the portable client folder on Mac, drop ROMs into your roms subfolder and implement it in terminal. Hope this help! Kyu
We pushed out another update for the native .app earlier today, downloadable at https://pokemmo.eu/downloads/mac/, which should resolve "Stuck @ dock" errors Link to comment

FlareBlitzz
Can anyone summarise what to do ? Is there no way to do it other than deleting the old files because then all the settings and bookmarks and language tabs have to be set again.. Link to comment

TohnR
@Kyu the message keeps appearing cause the files in Library/Application Support/PokeMMO aren't moved. Currently going to the Application Support folder and deleting the whole PokeMMO folder, then deleting the PokeMMO app and reinstalling from scratch makes it work. Thanks for whoever found that and thanks for trying to make it work for Mac users Kyu Edited January 23, 2020 by TohnR However you loose all your PokeMMO settings and it was a pain to go through them again lmao Link to comment
zkj9957
1. Deleting the old app through finder.(uninstalling) 2. On your desktop, press Shift + Command + G and type in ~/Library/Application Support under the Application Support folder, delete the PokeMMO folder 3. Download PokeMMO from https://pokemmo.eu/downloads/mac/ 4. Install since you have deleted the old app and the folder, it will not show error like this 5 hours ago, UmUsuarioQalquer said: Kyu This hapenned when I oppened the laucher in the new update Link to comment
