Sure, it may not look much now, but we have studied this place long enough to understand that it was once a vast and dense jungle, filled with all kinds of vegetation and rare Pokémon. We believe that most of the Pokémon that lived here don't even exist anymore. Not even fossils remain. That's one of the reasons why this place is so special. Second reason is that this place is always on an ongoing sandstorm that lasts for as long as the people in Hoenn can remember. Hoenn's weather institute have tried to undestand if there's an explanation to it. There are a few theories, but nothing conclusive. Obvisously, locals have their own stories... That's what I'm trying to find out. People say that somewhere in the desert there are ruins of a lost civilization. Allegedly, the sandstorm hides and protects that place. The information carved into the solid stones is said to hold unvaluable knowledge. Of course, no one ever found this place. Whoever comes back claiming that has discovered the place vanishes mysteriously. Unfortunately one of the "last victims" was a fellow explorer. John was a good friend... His last video message was rather odd, I have never saw John so enthusiastic and frightened at the same time. I don't know what happened to him, but I'm here to find some answers! All Pokemon must have been caught within the event time. You will have one hour to catch your entry. Evolved or unevolved forms of the listed Pokemon will not be accepted as a valid entry. All Pokemon must remain unchanged (untrained/unevolved...). Pokemon must be the player's OT. You can only submit one entry. You must link your entry to any participating staff member via whisper to submit your entry. In the event of a tie, the winner will be determined through the earliest catch time.
