big mushrooms , linoone pick up

Does pick up work with big mushrooms on paras or do i need s´kill thief,  and does linoone have some AOE damage ability ?

Pickup ability is based on location, not on the Pokémon you defeat.

But you could definitely use Thief on them to steal mushrooms, as long as it's not a "hit kill".

Linoone can learn Surf, but for better results you can use Teddiursa, because it can learn Eartquake (which is a physical move) and Hyper Voice (special attack), both are AOE. In addition to that, Teddi has also pickup ability.
