Rom Help

I'm unable to play on Pokemon Emerald whatsoever. I've tried to go there from Castelia City and I've tried to make a character that starts from Hoenn but neither seem to work. All it says is that I don't have the rom downloaded. I'm positive I downloaded the right rom, but could there be anything else I'm missing?

Hello FaygoJ - It's most likely an issue with the roms, you will have to find functional ones and we cannot help you with that. Pokemon Black or White is required to play the game. The rest (FireRed/LeafGreen, Emerald and HeartGold/SoulSilver) are "optional" but they also give you access to Kanto/Hoenn respectively.
