  1. As I'm nearing completion of my Pokedex, I realize there's something missing, A Pokedex Diploma. Would it be possible to implement something like this for the players? I was thinking even a special hat or Pokedex Vanity Item could be rewarded in place of a diploma or something along those lines. Let me know what you think !
  2. Since we can no longer change our Usernames at our own discretion, I think that a thread where we post up Usernames for the Forums that we want to change to would be a good idea. How would it work? Just have a Mod create a thread where you can post a name that you would like to change to, and if it was a viable Username, the Moderator would change it. Of course there would be a waiting period in between times that you could change your name, a month or two perhaps. What I think makes up a viable Username: Not already taken Not a simple spelling change, i.e. CaptainSpectacluar-->CaptainSpectacular is a no no. No blatant profanity Reasonable to the Moderators Follows Forum Rules The only reason why I see this not working is that it would take a lot of time from someone. But hey, we no longer can change our Usernames on our own, so I think that it would be only fair if we could have that back, but have it be monitored. Thanks for your consideration!
  3. I know its been suggested before, but this is different. I know the devs want an elite 4 cooldown so that people can "experience" the game. The truth is, after you beat the elite 4, there is nothing to do after you unlock the harder elite 4 (as of right now), and the last update was over 1 month ago (as of right now). Here's my suggestion: After unlocking the harder elite 4, the cooldown is reduced to 3 hours (as opposed to the current 6). After you unlock the harder elite 4, there is nothing to do besides level and do matchmaking, its incredibly hard to get level 100 pokemon, and actually being able to stay in the level 50 matchmaking bracket is hard. Changing the cooldown of the harder elite 4 would make it easier to get level 100 pokemon, giving people something to do (level 100 matchmaking) after training. If anyone can think of improvements feel free to post. No trolls please
  4. You should be allowed to temporarily borrow an individuals pokemon in different intervals such as 1 battle or maybe even 5 battles. Or until the trainer wants the pokemon back. Time limits could work also. Once the time is up the pokemon could be transported back into the party if there is needed space if not it can be sent to the available pokemon box. Just thought it would be a nice idea.
  5. Suggestion to unblock all people from your list and delete all of your friends. I think that people should be able to delete all of their friends and unblock everyone on your list, mainly because of the update that added friend and blocking space. It'd take ages to delete everyone like seriously. Of course a confirmation button would be added. Example: REEVS has logged off. And nobody wants that. Pro's ------------------ It's quick & easy Your friends won't go to bed. You can have good dreams! Con's ----------------- It may lag Someone could delete their friends accidently It could be hard to code, and Hoenn is enough work for the DEVS.

I think an implementation of a mail system, where you can trade Pokemon (basically with Cash on Delivery, but more of Pokemon/Cash on Delivery) with others that are offline/far away from you would be a great addition to the game. That way you can still trade with/send a message to others even if they're offline. They would have the option to accept the offer and provide a Pokemon/cash in return, in which the Original sender could then decline if he feels the Pokemon the other person is trading is not reasonable. This could also be used to transfer funds/Pokemon in between your own accounts.
  7. Here are some suggestions that I feel would improve the game, and make it much more appealing to play. Item Hunting Concept: You enter a large forest with several pokeballs lying in random positions. Each pokeball spawns a random item - much like a mystery box. The challenge being that you only have a limited number steps to find the pokeballs in. Perhaps the mini-game could be limited to having a daily cool down to prevent people from constantly farming. _________________________________________________________________________________ Thanks for taking the time to read this post.   8. So me and a few others were talking in Global chat and we came up with an idea called PVPCoins. Since there is no real currency in PokeMMO we could have PVPCoins, there are three possible ways to get these coins, and multiple ways to use them: We could have the matchmaking system on the Second Floor of the Pokemon Center matchmake players and the winning player would recieve coins in 100x the amount of pokemon started (max=600coins) for instance 3v3 would give 300 coins and 6v6 would give 600. We have a brand new PokeMMO island called Colosium Island and make that into an arena where people watch the best of the best play and they also place bets of up to 50 coins. We could also make it to where players would recieve these in only official tournament hosted events, and they recieve these via staff member. There are many ways to use this new currency and here are some of the top ones we came up with: We have a market in say Celadon, maybe on the floor with all the computers in which you can exchange these coins for rare items (IE: Lucky Eggs, Metal Coats, Dragon Scales & more) We use this new currency to buy clothes and such for our characters. and finally this new currency since it can be used to buy Lucky Eggs and other rare items, can be trade between players as a mean to sell or buy pokemon!   9. Hello everyone, it's me again. As a formerly avid MMORPG player, I always enjoyed the weekly or biweekly update schedule the games I played had. PokeMMO doesn't seem to have that (I understand it isn't developed my a major company like SOE or Valve), but it is encouraging to players to see a constant stream of updates. Here is my suggestion: Have a weekly or biweekly regular update for bug fixes, minor/easy improvements (change some messages that say TODO: Better message), and even lay down code for larger updates. And then every month there would be a major game update, something like how Valve updates Dota 2. Code is added every week, but no large piece of content (ie. a new hero) is released every week. I'm sure it wouldn't be difficult for the devs to implement a regular update schedule, and wonder what you guys think about it. TL;DR: Weekly/biweekly small updates, monthly game changing updates.
  10. My suggestion is that we use a slightly modified version of the Pokemon Emerald pickup table This is the table of items available from the pickup skill in Fire Red / Leaf Green. Also notice that all of the good items it offers (Hidden Power TM, Rare Candies, PP Up) are all available at any level. This means that anybody could catch 6 meowth and immediately farm rare candies, Hidden Power TMs, and PP Up. Notice that it is full of berries. Rare Candies, Hidden Power, and PP up are basically the only useful items on there, as there is already a berry salesman implemented in the game. THIS is the pickup table from pokemon Emerald. Major Differences: 1) No berries 2) Wider variety of items 3) The items received vary based on the level of your pokemon. The variation by level means that somebody has to put time and effort into raising their pokemon in order to get the full benefits of the ability. I mentioned at the top of the thread that it should be a slightly modified version of the Emerald pickup table. What would I like modified about it? Hidden Power. If you notice, Hidden Power TM is missing from the Pokemon Emerald pickup table. If anything, the White Herb should be replaced by Hidden Power. This keeps it semi-rare while still being accessible to mid-level trainers. Suggestion 3: The confirmation for removing an item from a pokemon should be removed. There are no negative consequences, and once pickup is implemented it will only serve to be a nuisance.
  11. I'm not sure how anyone else feels about this, but I'd really appreciate the ability to use numbers in Team Names/Tags. I have a wonderful idea, and it requires numbers. I can understand why they're not allowed in Names, but not tags. Unless there's a viable reason that is...

Like the title said I was thinking of letting us have the option to lock the slots in our PC boxes like this: [center][img]http://i.imgur.com/xhdokRg.png[/img][/center] For what purpose you ask?[list] [*]Lets say you want to dedicate a box for Competitive Pokemon only. Isn't it annoying when the empty slots of your PC get filled up everytime you catch new Pokemon from the Wild? By locking the boxes prior to catching new Pokemon, the slots in a box which you locked won't get filled up! You can unlock a slot at anytime and add any Pokemon you want to add in that slot! [/list] Pros: ~ Saves time. ~ Creates less hassle. ~ More flexible and easy to manage rather than having to release Pokemon to clean up a box. Cons: ~ None. Edit: -There also is an option to lock a whole box at one time without having to lock all the slots one by one. - A locked slot would be Auto unlocked if you catch a Pokemon and a message would be displayed: "You have run out of room, check your PC in the Future"
  13. Well like the title said, this is my suggestion: You are given the option to 'mark' a Pokemon after you capture them like how it is depicted in the image below. The trainer could just click the Pokedex button and be greeted with information on the Pokemon. Particularly, the nature of the Pokemon, and other useful information.   15. Simple suggestion: Make a hotkey to release Pokémon in the PC Boxes. Ctrl+rightclick releases the Pokémon or something. Shouldn't be that hard to implement? Oh and make a checkbox in the PC (or in 'Option's) so people won't accidentally release their shiny or 'God IV'd' Pokémon. [b]Note[/b]: Yes similair things have been suggested before, (release at catch) but you probably can script bots to stat-check and then release it, if the IV's are bad. If you find a good IV'd+natured Pokémon just run back to your PC and set it apart from the rest so you won't wipe it.   17. Hello everyone who reads this. As the title reads, I am proposing that the poke flute be made to awaken sleeping Pokemon in battle, not just the two Snorlax. The reason I am suggesting this is because I noticed that when playing Fire Red or Leaf Green on the handhelds, you are able to use the poke flute to wake up sleeping Pokemon. I'm sorry if this suggestion ends up being spam.
  18. I've seen many people suggest / request the systems source code to create private servers and such to play with friends. But of course that isn't going to happen, so I have a suggestion that pleases those people and no source code released publicly. This keeping us all happy. User Created Channels This could be a button or entirely command based, simply; /createchan is the command to create a channel planetultra is the channel name PASSWORD is the channel password Want to join your friends private channel? /joinchan Examplename Examplepassword Or this could handled with buttons and UI elements. This suggestion allows people to play with friends privately and the devs keep all the source code. It's a win-win situation.
  19. Basically as of now it is impossible to evolve pokemon such as Onix, Slowpoke into Slowking, or Seadra since they require items that (as far as I know) aren't obtainable in Kanto. I mean we could just wait until those regions are available, but to me it would make sense to have them available in the Mart, only for a large fee. For instance, you could buy the dragon scale required to evolve Seadra in the Celadon department store for, say 50000 pokemonies, or possibly even more. As with every other suggestion on this board I'm sure this will have some objectors, so fire away.
