As far as Johto goes this is what I've based my posts from:

The game does not have different servers, but we do have different channels. If you want to see your friend you both must be in the same channel as each other. You can see which channel you are in by looking at the top left of your screen: If you want to switch your channel, click the Community button in the bottom right and select "Change Channel"

^ If you don't like to Sketch moves with Smeargle you could also do the following: Male Rattata (Pursuit) + Female Sneasel = Female Sneasel with Pursuit. Male Beartic (Icicle Crash) + Female Sneasel (Pursuit) = Female Sneasel with both egg moves.

I wasn't here two years ago so I'm not sure about that. Sorry.

I don't know how true that statement is, but even if that was the case Unova gave us new Pokémon, abilities, moves, etc. Johto would have only given us a new region.

"Unknown OT" Is the result of someone breeding two shiny Pokémon together while the female Pokémon is not that users OT.

Because of how much time/work goes into implementing an entire region, they choose to add the regions that add the most content. At the moment we have all of the Johto Pokémon available to us so there wouldn't be much new content added with the Johto region.

I believe it was more of a question than a suggestion.

I don't know about Jhoto, but they do plan on adding Johto eventually. Don't expect it anytime soon though.

They won't. However, there is a mod that you can download that will provide you with the follower sprites.

The Johto region isn't available to play yet. The HG/SS ROMs are used for graphics and followers sprites.

^^ If a Pokémon uses the move Roost, it will lose it's Flying typing during the turn that the move was used. Therefore if the Pidgeot used Roost it would only be a Normal type for that turn and Ice type moves would inflict neutral damage.

No, shiny breeding uses the same mechanics as breeding regular Pokémon. You will receive one egg and you will lose both parents. This is also the wrong place to ask a question like this. this thread is used for asking/giving advice on how valuable something is.
