Hi, I'm just wondering about pokemon stat changes that may or may not come with the Unova release. The current meta is to pick two stats and hit that hard cap of 252 that pokemon excels in. I'm wondering if this meta will continue into the Unova release, I've never really attempted to be competitive at Pokemon until playing Pokemmo. Unlike the normal release of the games you weren't really able to openly view the IV/EV of a Pokemon. Again, because of how I played the original games up to generation 4, I don't have a lot of experience attempting to be competitive with EV/IV's. So I'm still kind of a cherry to it. TLDR; will the 252 meta still exist in the Unova release? I also know some abilities don't exist right now, but will exist in the next Region, Like Swinubs "Thick fat" ability, if I breed two 4x31 and wait until the release and breed them together to make a 5x31 will I have a chance of getting the ability or will it end up being invalid because the pokemon was caught and bred before the release? TLDR2; will I have to catch pokemon after the release of unova or can new abilities be bred into them after the release with pokemon caught before release?

The announcement post was made 22 hours ago, I assume if we go by that time we have 2 more hours until a full day has cycled since his post. So best hope for me is then. Edit: Also I know nothing about the developers, location, time zone, or time frames for releasing things.

Right, I got that. I'm asking if there is a separate client download for the PTS and if so where is the location to download it.

I looked around but didn't see it, unless its in a odd spot. EDIT: yeah, went to the announcement post and didn't see it

How do you get the PTS client? And is it just the pokemon Black Rom that you need?
