I enjoy shiny hunting I find it pretty relaxing, it's how I found my dewgong too :) Also I just enjoy the general environment of PokeMMO. I chill with my team mates and chat on channel 2 and everyone just has a great time.

Would be helpful in case you missed something on the forums or if you decide to change your mind last minute on an event, definitely agreed great suggestion.

Monotype tournaments, please make it happen :/

My bad I completely forgot about event suggestions haha, yeah I'll post it there too. I do find it strange though because the second most popular chat room in pokeshowdown is monotype and it has a somewhat large following.

Ice is actually the worst monotype, but I am in love with Ice pokemon and their theme so I'm doing it anyway :)

Hey so I am a bit biased since I literally own a team dedicated to monotypes, but I was wondering why PokeMMO doesn't really host any monotype tournaments? Pretty sure everyone knows the rules of monotypes and my team eventually plans on hosting our own unofficial tournaments for the public, but I don't know why there aren't any official tournaments for the format.

While I do agree grinding can be an arduous process that gets dull quite quickly it's necessary for the game. If challenges were implemented they'd quickly become boring themselves and feel like another "task" that one would have to do to make money for breeding. I just think there really couldn't be a way to add these challenges and not have them become a chore themselves in the end. Devs have said they're working on dungeons for players and who knows, perhaps they will become a source of money in the future, but I think for now sticking with rematch grinding and item farming is the best thing we're going to have.

I literally just went to waste 2 hours shiny hunting in icefall cave and an hour in I found my shiny dewgong in a horde haha. Have faith you'll find what you're looking for.

I personally wouldn't have a problem with this as long as the items are untradeable to prevent alt abuse. Only idea I disagree with is RP. I think RP should be off the table except for comp rewards and donation or it would become too unvalueable. Other then that great idea.

Yeah I just bought a few to use for my breeds, I really don't understand why they took it out. One free pokeball for buying 10 pokeballs in a pokemart really can't be extorted in anyway and it would just be nice if we could have it back that way.

I started pokemon back when ruby first came out. Through the years I have completely played through Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, Diamond, Platinum, Black, and X but never once found a shiny. But today at 9:20 PM EDT I finally found my first ever shiny on pokemon :) Anyway I also wanted to hear what everyone elses' first shiny was. Post the first ever shiny you found and whether you caught it or it escaped :D.
