Team Preview. I guess we can lock this thread now, hehe.

The initial TP is great to make a basic gameplan and select a lead but after the minute it stays on screen the pokemon go back to being unrevealed: As you can see, as the other guy in this match was taking his time to make the turn 1 move I went for something to drink and as i came back I already didn't remember half his team. Sure one could try harder on remembering part or take a screenshot at the beginning of the match, but I guess this would be a nice and very welcome QoL change if it kept the mons as revealed from the get go

And that's not a problem. Pokemon as a game has deviated from the concept of a counter as the generations went on thanks to the overall powercreep. what we need is not to ban togekiss but to get team preview.

For you to be flinched swept you need to have no pokemon over 145 speed (even less, considering most ppl dont even run max speed toge) so you'd basically be playing stall without an answer to togekiss, i see no reason why you shouldnt be swept in this scenario since it directly derivates from bad teambuilding. I respectfully disagree. Makes stall braindead and takes away a good mon for balance and offensive builds

Can we please always use this format for announcing matches? There's been countless times where they post a match and i don't know what team the players are or what tier they're playing. On a side note, can whoever is playing me pm to set a time (I will only play on the weekend)

The idea would be to volt into a storng hitter (Darma, mienshao, etc) It checks reuni, conk and hydreig, and blissey 4 of the 5 highest usage mons, with physical investment you can add in banded sciz too. so yeah, it keeps a lot of stuff, and stall, in check. It doesn't counter them, in the same way lando doesnt counter the mons it checks in usum ou, but its an affordable check that fits in balance and offense builds if you dont wanna be running cofag + milotic to handle these mons. And it doesnt make stall useless, it makes the game more balanced. Gotta love when people argue only out of sentiment and can't even accept statistical and probability counterproof to their arguments. Since when is 36% "Super likely"? This should actually be pretty fun! However @Edniss can you turn evasion, op moves and self ko clauses off? Makes the event better when a player randomly pulls these normaly banned moves and they actually work

I cant belive i'm saying this but... no. PLEASE keep togekiss in the tier. for one it has 4mmss but mainly it single handely keeps stall at bay (This doesnt mean it makes stall useless, rather controls it and forces it to at least run either ttar mag or uhm aero). its scarf set also checks HO which is imo one of the strongest playstyles right now and believe or not, scarfs toge matchup vs balance is a skill based one since theyll most likely carry checks, strong priority, rocks, and even pursuit. Banning this pokemon would be like banning lando-t in usum, sure there might be arguments that it is maybe a little too strong but it also acts as a glue that holds the entire tier together. I can truly not thing of any other pokemon that, if banned, would unleash such havok on the metagame. (Note that is the complete opposite of unhealthy)

Make me a sweet sweet bird spam team ft. tailow (and ofc with shit to break steels and rocks) Edit: Bird spam has been one of my favourites team archetypes since banded talonflame was the pinacle of skill in pokemon. I love how you are almost playing a hyper-offense monotype team that's actually legit, fun and strong. with one of the best offensive typings featuring a 120 bp, perfectly accurate stab move and the surprisingly good coverage that some flying mons have (fighting - fire for instance) you can actually replicate this archetype in different tiers to a decent share of success, specially if you consider how fast your games can get, I've done so myself in ou and uu so why the heck not lc? Go birds! Tailow set: Guts @Flame orb -Brave Bird -Facade -U-Turn -Protect/QA Doduo Set: (Scarf probably altought Band or even berry juice sd can work too) -Brave Bird -Return/SD -Jump Kick -KnockOff if Scarf, QA if Banded, Return if SD The idea is to have two very strong offensive pokemon that share the same set of counters so one can leave holes open for the other to sweep, other important factors that this team might need is hazzard control and checks for steel/rock type pokemon in the tier, mienshao comes to mind for the later and it doubles as u-turn and regenerator user to provide momentum

Scizor, Volcarona, Ttar, Eevee, Lucario, Toge, Met, Venu (Assuming we have hidden abilities by the end of the year lmao)... They are all worth and can work with 2x31s unlike those walls.
