I didn't find any Heart Scale or Red Shard while using Meowth with Pick Up + Pay Day, but using Knock Off in Meowth I could identify Luvdisc and Corsola carrying Heart Scale/Red Shard and therefore capture it. I collected 12x Heart Scale and 2x Red Shard with this method.
